Chapter 5

Danii POV

We all continued to talk while Ban finished up the steaks. I was keeping an eye on Gowther though. I didn't want him getting hands on anymore memories of ours. The only memories he can have are the ones we tell him.

A few minutes later Ban brings the steaks over. "Bon appetite, lovelies~", he looked directly at Maeve when he said lovelies & smirked.

Diane came over with a curious look on her face. "So Danii, what is all this stuff?", she asked as she poked my hat. I gave Maeve an 'oh crap' look. I had completely forgotten that I had modern day accessories on! "They're just... things that mean something to me, I guess", I replied trying to keep my cool.

She took my hat off to reveal my dirty blonde hair roots coming in. Meliodas spit out the ale he was drinking. "Woah?! You're not a natural purple?", he asked. Me & Maeve both chuckled a little. We had forgotten that crazy colored hair was normal in this world. "What more crazy things are you keeping from us?"

I then felt a sting in my neck.

Gowther was it it, again.

Except someone caught it this time.

King quickly turned to Gowther when he noticed me put my hand on my neck from the shock. "Gowther! Don't you dare!", he yelled. It was too late though. "Hm... what is this show...", he pondered. Me & Maeve's eyes both widened. Did he just figure out we were from another world?

"Danii, what is 'The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire'?", he asked.

Me & Maeve both let out a sigh of relief. "It's just a show I went to", I replied.

Maeve POV

I was glaring at Gowther at this point. He better not look into anymore of our memories. I think we both felt like there are worse things that could be exposed about us than us being from another world.

"Hey, how about we find out something new about Maeve for a change?", Ban yelled more than asked. He came over & sat across from me. "Come on, tell us something about yourself!" I shrugged. "No way. A girl looking like you do totally has something to say", Ban was edging me on.

He then stopped a little shock that was coming toward Maeve with his hand. He turned to Gowther & glared. "No. More", he said as his look turned almost sinister. "Don't dive into people's memories man", Meliodas said as he ate some food.

"Hey Maeve", Elizabeth shyly came her. Her & Diane pulled out... make up kits? They have those here? "Have you ever wanted to have your make up done?", Elizabeth happily asked. I gave them both a dead look. "Well then, I guess we'll just have to pretty up Danii!", Diane said. "Already beat you do it", Danii said, pointing to the eyeliner on their face. Diane & Elizabeth both with "Oooo"

"If you have a red pen though or something, I could do something cool with that", I said. Everyone around me looked confused except for Danii. "You're don't mean... fake up. Do you?", Danii said, holding in their laughed. "I do actually", I said as I began laughing. We probably looked insane. I didn't care. I was meeting the guy of my dreams with my best friend, who was meeting the guy of their dreams. I could look insane all I wanted.

Ban POV

Maeve & Danii had burst out laughing. What the hell is this? What the hell is fake up? Why does Maeve look so beauti- not the point. "Hey, do you guys mind explaining what 'fake up' is?", King asked from behind.
