Paul, as it turned out, lived just around the corner. However, it didn't seem like he'd been expecting company.
"Mike?" Paul asked as he opened the door. "What are you doing here?"
"I need a favor," Mike begged. He was holding Micky's hand and Paul eyed the shirtless, bloodied boy cautiously.
"What the hell happened?" Paul demanded. He opened the door wider for Mike and Micky to come inside.
They went into the living room and Mike took a deep breath. "Paul, this is Micky. Micky, this is my friend, Paul McCartney."
And then he explained Micky's story.
