Draco's POV:

"Hello, son." My father said.

"Up and at it again, hhm?" He asked.

I didn't reply.

He stepped towards me.

"Are you going to answer me?" He growled.

I stayed silent, frozen with fear.

He closed the gap between us.

"Answer me now." He snarled.

I closed my eyes, willing myself to stay silent.

I sensed my father retreating.

I opened my eyes.

I quickly glanced at my restraints.

My right arm had a rope tied around the wrist.

The rope was tied to a bedpost, quite like the one under the Whomping Willow.

However, we weren't under the Whomping Willow.

We were in the basement of the Malfoy Manor.

Hermione's POV:

I quickly walked up to the main counter.

The attendant glanced at me.

"May I help you?" He said slowly.

"Yes, I hope." I said.

He nodded.

"The chief's office is that way." He said, pointing down a hall.

I nodded.

"Thank you." I said.

He nodded.

Harry, Ginny, and I found the office quickly.

Harry knocked on the door.

A large but muscular man opened the door.

"Hello. Are you lost?" He asked.

We all shook our heads.

"The attendant at the front desk sent us here." I said.

The chief snorted.

"Phillips. Always putting off his own work." He said.

He looked down at us again.

"Won't you come inside and tell me what's happened? There's enough seats for everyone." He said.

We all entered the office.

It was large, and quite nice.

It was well lit, and the walls were painted a light blue.

We all took our seats.

The chief looked at me.

"Would you like to begin?" He asked me.

I nodded.

"Earlier tonight, my boyfriend, Draco Malfoy, went missing. We were in our apartment together. I had left to go to the kitchen to make dinner. When I called for him around 20 minutes later, he didn't respond. I waited a couple more minutes, but he never showed up." I said.

The chief nodded.

"Does he have any medical conditions?" He asked.

"Well, about a month ago, he had a nasty blow to the head and was in a coma. When he woke up, he had serious amnesia, but now he can walk well and remembers Harry and I. His memory is up to around the age of 16." I said.

The chief nodded.

"Well, does he know the way back to your home?" The chief asked.

I thought for a minute.

"I don't know. He had never been in the apartment before his amnesia, so probably not." I said.

The chief nodded again.

"Well, we will do the best we can to find him." He said.

I nodded.

"Thank you so much." I said, rising from my chair.

"Anytime." He said.

We filed out of the office.

When we stepped back into the busy streets of London, it reminded me that the one person I knew I could count on might never see me again.
