Up in Olympus: Percy (TLO) P.O.V

Percy stared at her for a while, he could tell she was nervous for she fiddled with her hair and tried not to make eye contact with him. He stepped fully inside the room and gently closed the wooden door behind him, "You are one for rules, Wise Girl, a guy and a girl can't be alone together in a room." He muttered, trying to find an excuse for her to leave, he honestly didn't feel like having another conversation like the one they had in the Throne Room or really any kind for that matter. Despite his bad mood, the room itself was incredible. He looked at the gleaming floor, it was glass, water and sea creatures dwelled underneath and as they passed each one bowed and greeted him like: Greetings, my Lord! or Good evening, my Lord. Though there was one weird fish with a German accent said as she passed: Guten Tag, my Lord!

His bed was king sized, the comforter was a rich midnight blue with a huge turquoise trident running vertically through the center. The frame was mahogany with tall bedposts that rose like coral, a flat screen TV sat at the foot of the bed which was convenient for relaxing purposes. The ceiling was a mist that mimicked the night sky yet still the water below glistened making diamond patterns dance on everything in the room.

Annabeth blushed but it was very hard to tell in the dim light, "Everyone is asleep and the rooms are sound proof, no one will see or hear. But Percy I need to talk to you."

Percy sighed, "Fine," He walked over to the bed, as he did so he had the constant sensation of falling because of how invisible the glass seemed. If he didn't know any better, he would say he was walking on water. Percy reached the bed and sat down opposite of her, "What do you need to talk about?"

"I had a dream--."

"We all have dreams."

Annabeth glared, "You know what type of dream I mean, stop being such a jerk."

"I'm not the one who thinks that their best friend would be the cause of their death!" Percy snarled.

"I'm not having this argument with you again, you know my reasoning is plausible!"

"WELL WHAT ABOUT ACTUALLY HAVING FAITH IN ME?" He snapped, jumping to his feet.

"PERCY SIT DOWN! I do but the Fates--."

"No you don't." He replied coldly. "If you did we wouldn't be having this conversation!"

"I'm here aren't I?"

"So?"

"If I didn't have faith in you wouldn't I still be staying away from you? Now can I please finish?"

Percy paused for a moment, then nodded before gradually sitting down and saying, "Go on."

"Anyway, I had a dream, I was in the Throne Room and the Fates appeared in front of me. They said in order to change the future we have to change the past. My death was never supposed to happen and only because of your temper it did. You didn't kill me but because of your temper I was put in that position that ended with my death." She frowned. "They wouldn't tell me the whole story though. In order to figure it all out they said we will have to talk to the Percy from the eldest time."

"So you're saying in order to bring you back, for your death never to happen I have to learn to control my temper?" Percy raised his eyebrow. "You're joking."

"Gaea tampered with the time period, you aren't supposed to be this angry and out of control. Which means she is having inside help. . .remember when we were twelve and at the diner where we met a certain Olympian? Made your temper shoot through the roof?" Annabeth implied.
