RIP Gabe

Gabe whimpered and seemed to be trying to shrink, but it wasn't working to well. The demigods and Olympians stared. Hazel and Piper looked about in tears while the three boys stared glassy eyed. The figure paid them no attention, it kept all its attention on Gabe who had began to stutter.

"I-I don't know where she is!" He gulped. "I promise! I was just trying to get her out when you came . . ."

"SILENCE!" The being snarled, embedding its sword a centimeter from Gabe's face. "I don't have time for your babbling."

Gabe screamed and winced at the closeness of the bronze sword, the figure reached down and grabbed the front of his shirt. He was hauled to his feet and dragged to the edge of the abyss.

"Hey! W-wait a minute!" Gabe gasped and tried to punch his handler, but the being simply deflected it.

"Percy!" Piper called, "Percy you can't kill him!"

The figure turned to her, its emerald eyes ablaze, "What do you mean I can't kill him?"

"This event has already changed time as it is, lets not make it worse by killing Gabe before its time."

The figure stared at her for a moment, its eyes boring into Piper's. It took her entire will power to not back down. Those emerald eyes she had known before had been so loving and of righteous power had been warped to glacial and absolute abhor toward everything and everyone.

"Percy," Piper repeated at a soft and gentle tone, her voice quivered and her throat constricted as tears blurred her vision. "Percy, this isn't you. Just...Just leave him, he has no power and cannot do anything to us. Show mercy, we just need to focus on finding your mother."

Percy (HoH) stood there for several moments, eyes locked with Piper's, everyone around them faded into nothingness. They were only aware of each other for Percy was in crushing wroth and every fiber in Piper's being was telling her to get away from him as quickly as possible and knew if she broke eye contact he would do exactly what was on his mind. The group behind the two stood still as they felt the tensions rise. Annabeth (TLO) felt her own tears come but held them back determined not to let show. Her eyes focused on the decrepit creature in front of her, it was Percy, she had no doubt, his eyes gave it all away. Turning her head slightly she caught a glimpse of the Percy from her time, their eyes were so different but the color was the same.

Zeus (TLO) took a step forward, "Percy," He warned, "Don't hurt the mortal." In saying this everyone's first reaction was to look at who was speaking, including Piper, that was all Percy needed.

"I am not Percy," The creature snarled, baring bloodstained teeth, "Not after Tartarus." He launched Gabe into the crevasse as easy as if he was throwing an javelin and down Gabe fell with a echoing screech.

"PERCY!" Piper yelped, running over to the edge to watch the small black speck of Gabe falling faster toward Tartarus. She turned her head to look up and met the creature's emerald eyes. "Why...what could you have possible accomplished by doing that?"

Behind them the gods managed to find Sally under the rubble, Poseidon (TLO) called to Piper, "Never mind that, we need to get out of here, Sally needs to get back to Olympus for proper treatment."

Athena (TLO) turned to Poseidon, "And what about your spawn?"

"Leave him, Piper just come back here, he can't be saved."

Jason rounded on him, "What? What do you mean he cannot be saved?"

"He is corrupted by Tartarus, infected, he cannot be saved."

"Are you really giving up, that fast? On your own son?"

"I cannot changed the future, better to accept it than dwell."

Jason glared at him, but knew not to push any further, he turned to Piper, "Come on, Pipes, lets go."

Piper sighed and broke her eye contact with Percy (HoH) and walked back toward the group. Zeus summoned a lightning bolt and they vanished in a flash, leaving a furious Percy behind.

SO yay sorry about the horrible writing and short chapter. Wanted to get this up for the summer (first day of summer for me) and I will have much more chapters up because it is the summer so yeah those chapters will not be this horrible and will actually be good so just wanted to post this and yeah! I will be working on the next chapter and another story that I would like to introduce...a better story than all the others hopefully. So missed you guys and hope you aren't too disappointed with this chapter! xD
