Chapter 10- Gorilla.

..............................

Bailey's POV-

My face flushed a deep red as I continued to stomp out of the kitchen.

The front door slammed and I sighed in relief when the rest of the boys walked in. Josh smirked at me, eyes flickering to the kitchen doorway.

I looked behind me, and there he was- in all his glory. He stood with his shirt open, just as I had left it. Bottle of vodka in his hand. He slowly tilted the bottle up to his mouth, eyes trained on me the whole time. Damn, Harry.

"Hey, Bailey." Liam greeted me.

"Hi." I responded shortly, my eyes not leaving his.

"You guys must have been busy." Louis commented.

Harry's deep chuckle echoed throughout the room. "Bailey was." He laughed.

"Harry." I warned.

He laughed again. "Never mind, Niall did you do it?" He directed his next words towards Niall.

I furrowed my eyebrows, as Niall nodded. "'Course, mate."

"What did you get, Niall?" I asked.

His head snapped towards me, and the humor in his words didn't reach his eyes. "Oh, nothing much."

I stared at the white plastic bag Niall was holding, and worry churned in my stomach. What the hell was in there?

"Bailey, can we talk for a moment?" Liam asked me.

A smile stretched on my face for a moment, but I quickly recovered it when I caught Harry's angered gaze. "Um, sure."

I followed him towards the living room, were we sat next to each other. "What is going on with you guys?"

I answered him truthfully, as tears filled my eyes. "I have no clue, Liam. One minute he's completely normal, and then the next he's overbearingly protective and mean. I honestly feel like I'm walking on eggshells around him. He keeps on threatening me."

Liam tilted his head, worry clouding over an other emotions. "Threatening you how?"

"He keeps on saying that if I don't do what he says, then he'll 'punish' me. What ever the hell that means." I tell him, tears spilling over my eyes.

This was nice, actually telling someone. Even if Liam can't do anything about it, at least he knows, he can help me through it. I hadn't had the chance to actually spill my feelings towards anyone. No one knew about this 'other' Harry that I was dealing with.

"He wouldn't... Like hit you, right?" Liam's eyes widened.

"No, no- he would never." I answer the question before I actually think about it.

Would he? I can think back to quite a few times over the past few days were he has been overly rough with me, but he wouldn't actually ever hit me, right? Or was it only a matter of time before I pushed him to far? I used to think about this all the time, in the early days of our marriage. Him being so strong and all, but back then- I just brushed it off, because I knew he would never actually hit me, but now- I can't seem to get past it. Now it doesn't seem so impossible...

"I-I, I don't know, Liam." I answered. My tears were freely falling, and I covered my face with my hands. "I hope he wouldn't."

He looked at me apologetically. "If he ever laid a hand on you, you would leave the bastard right?"
