Ronnie's POV~

Calum's words kept going around in circles in my mind. What does he mean it would be kinda hot? It was a Friday afternoon and I was making my way down the corridor towards the office where Ms Liz sat, waiting for me so we could start my weekly "therapy" session. I heard feet thudding down the corridor, causing me to spin around as Anthem skidded to a stop next to me.

"Where are you going?! We have a party to get ready for!"

I look at Anthem and then back to Ms Liz's door, trying to form words to come out of my mouth.

Anthem watched me as I looked back and forth between her and the door. Ashton was really the only one who knew about my weekly sessions. I was too nervous to tell the others, but I guess Anthem would find out sooner or later.

And apparently sooner was today's option.

"I uhm. I have to meet with Ms Liz every Friday after school..."

Anthem simply nodded her head like she understood and sat on one of the seats situated just outside the office door. I took a deep, shaky breath before knocking on the door, being answered by a muffled "come in" as I gently push the door handle down.

"I'll wait right here for you, okay?"

Anthem gave me an encouraging smile as I walked in, seating myself on the seat in front of the desk.

"Good Afternoon Ronnie, how was you're first week here at Edgemount High? I see you've joined the cheer squad! That's a good thing, right?"

I smiled and looked down at my black vans.

"I uhm. I guess? Anthem joined with me..."

I looked up quickly as I heard a pen drop onto the table and saw Ms Liz look at me in shock.

"Anthem? Anthem Hemmings? I knew she did gymnastics when she was younger, but didn't realise that she would be interested in the peppy cheer squad. Give her my congratulations when you leave."

I awkwardly smiled and played with the silver trimming of my cheer dress.

"So tell me, Ronnie, how have your classes been going? I've been receiving good reports from your teachers, but I want to know how you're doing.

I talk with Ms Liz about all my subjects, especially at how I'm excelling in both Art and Music - both subject of which I'm naturally good at, according to Ash. Ms Liz smiled and listened as I spoke, occasionally typing something onto her laptop.

"Now, I know this is a touchy subject for you, but how are you personally feeling after the incident."

The smile that I didn't realise I had on my face faded as soon as she said that, my attention going back to the silver trimming of the dress.

"I know it's a hard subject for you to talk about, but you know that the sooner you talk about it, the sooner you can finish these sessions. And as much as I love seeing the students and helping them, I don't like seeing them upset."

I let out a huge sigh before looking back up at her.

"I'm feeling okay, I guess. I almost didn't want to try out for the squad because of it, but Anthem and the guys got me to go for it."

Ms Liz gave me a sad smile and typed some more words into her laptop.

"Do you think that was a good thing or a bad thing?"

I stared at the back of her laptop, the lit-up apple staring back at me as if it was waiting for my response as well.

"I guess, I think, a good thing? I'm not sure yet... I think it kinda depends on the game tomorrow..."
