Anthem's POV~
The rest of the day was spent full of cuddling and kisses before I received a text from Luke, telling me that our mother and dad had gone away for another month-long business trip. Michael wrote a quick letter to his mum, letting her know where he will be for the next few weeks or so before he grabbed his school stuff and followed me out to my car.
Michael looked at me, silently begging for me to let him drive the car. With a playful roll of my eyes, I tossed him the keys and watched as his face broke out in a giant grin before running to the drivers side.
"Hurry up! Let's go!"
I stopped walking and looked at him, eyebrows raised.
"Hey. I'm giving you the privilege of driving my baby. Don't you hurry me."
I walked even slower, just to piss him off. I knew he wanted to tell me to hurry up, but he also knew I would take the keys away, never letting him drive it again.
Swinging open the door, I threw my bag onto the back seat next to where Michael had carelessly thrown his before gracefully climbing in.
"I swear to god if you break my baby, I will make sure you will never be able to drive again."
Michael nodded his head at me, impatiently waiting as I slowly clipped the seat belt in.
"Now you may proceed to drive. But drive slowly. I don't need another speeding ticket from you under my name."
He grinned at me before carefully pulling out of the driveway and slowly proceeded down the street. I looked over at him, a bored look on my face.
"I said drive slow, not drive like my grandma. By driving slow I mean drive to the speed limit. At this rate, it's gonna take us an hour."
I could see a small smirk creep along his face as he started to slowly put his foot down on the accelerator, increasing his speed bit by bit, trying to go over the speed limit without me noticing.
It worked for a while, until I saw a flashing light and realised that we had been snapped by a speed camera.
Again.
"God dammit Michael!"
He threw his head back and started laughing as he slowed down, turning into my driveway before parking in my designated spot.
"I swear to god, Clifford, if I didn't love I would never let you drive her!"
He reached in and grabbed both of our bags as I climbed out, throwing me the keys after he locked the car.
"Good thing you love me then, because I'm gonna make sure i'm not around when you get back in there."
I narrowed my eyes at him as he started walking towards the doorway where Mr Jared waited to greet us.
"If you farted in my car again, Michael, you are a dead man and should start running."
I could hear his laugh drift through the doorway as I followed him inside, Mr Jared closing the front doors behind me.
"Do I at least get a 10 minute head start?"
Luke walked down the staircase and gave Michael a fist bump.
"10 minute head start? Did you fart in her car again and close the door before she realised? Nice!"
Michael and Luke high fived as I glared at the two of them.
"I will not hesitate in punching you in the face for encouraging him, Lukas."
"What? I get a punch in the face and he's the one who farted in your car?! How is that fair?"
