"I'm sorry." I cried. He hugged me.

"I don't think you should stay at your place." He explained. I looked at him confused.

"I'm fine." I said and he laughed.

"I know you're not. I can tell remember?" He asked. I nodded.

"I don't know if anyone will let me so." I explained.

"You can come over to my house." He offered. I gulped. "Oh come on. It won't be much different from when we were kids." He said.

"YES it will!" I exclaimed. "We're adults! Its so different!" He just laughed.

"You're being paranoid." He said and we walked to his house. I just stood there at the door. "Come on Evelina." He demanded. I did as commanded and walked in. I shut the door behind me. I followed him to the living room. I stood there awkwardly.

"So." I said. He looked at me.

"Evelina come on, I won't do anything." He said. I gulped and walked over to him and sat down. He sighed. "Calm down please?" He begged. I looked at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You're scared if we go back to doing things the same way I'll leave again an history will repeat. But, I can promise you, I won't leave you again." He said causing me to tear up.

"I hate it when you read me." I stated and forced my eyes shut. He hugged me.

"I'm sorry. I really am. I never knew you-" I cut him off.

"Shut up." I demanded. He pulled away and looked at me.

"Wha-"

"Sh! Quiet." I demanded again. He raised an eyebrow. "I just want it to be like the old times, when we didn't have to talk. We just knew." I explained. He sighed and grabbed my chin.

"I don't think I can do that." He whispered. I gulped and looked at him. "I love your voice. I love our endless conversations. I miss our silly little arguments about the guild. I miss and love everything when we talk." He explained. I looked away and blushed. I missed this, him. I sighed and he smirked. "And I know you feel the same." I blushed more looked at him and smiled.

"I do miss it when we are away from each other. I miss us talking. I miss us debating." I said and chuckled.

"God." I heard him say under his breath. I looked at him.

"Is something wrong?" I asked. He looked down my body.

"Y-you changed your look." He just now noticed.

"I've been like this for, about four years now." I explained.

"So, why?" He asked.

"I outgrew my old outfit. I mean yeah I still have it but, I like this more." I explained.

"Why?" He asked looking over me again. I grabbed his chin and forced him to look at me.

"Because, I feel more, I feel powerful, sexy, and myself." I said and blushed. I ran my hands over my face. "It's stupid." I said.

"No, I understand." He said.

"I-I'll requip." I said and stood up. I then requipped into my old outfit.

"I wasn't complaining." He said. I shrugged.

"It's fine." I said forcing a smile. He walked over to me and hugged me.

"Change back." He said. "I don't care." I sighed.

"I will tomorrow." I whispered. He hugged me tighter.

"Now." He demanded. I inhaled his scent and sighed.

"Fine." I mumbled and he let me go. I requipped again and stood there facing him. I blushed. "C-Can you stop?" I asked him sweetly. He chuckled and hugged me.

"You're cute when you blush." He mumbled. I blushed heavier. He let out a deep chuckle. I gulped and looked at him nervously.

"I-I'm getting tired." I stuttered. He smiled at me.

"Alright, I'll set up the bed for you." He said. I raised an eyebrow.

"You mean you have a guest room?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No, I just need to remake my bed." He said. I felt guilty. "Stop, let me do this for you." He said walking upstairs. I gave his back a confused look. I then ran after him.

"Stop what?" I asked. He smirked.

"You felt guilty." He said. I sighed. "Hey, there's a ball coming up for the guilds." He stated.

"I've heard." I mumbled.

"So, has anyone asked you?" He asked. I shrugged and shook my head.

"Nope, I also don't think I'm going." I stated and forced another smile.

"Why?" He asked pulling out sheets for his bed.

"I'm just, not good at dancing?" I said it coming out like a question. I was lying.

"Stop it. You are amazing at dancing." He said as I walked to the other side of the bed and helped him. "So, what's the real reason?" He asked.

"Well, I don't exactly fit in with that stuff." I mumbled. He looked at me.

"What do you mean?" He asked again.

"I mean, I'm not comfortable with stuff like that." I said thinking of my past.

"Oh come on. I'll be there." He said. I shrugged.

"I-I don't think I'll go." I said. After everything was set up we sat back on the couch downstairs.

"Can you tell me why?" He asked.

"I don't want to go." I said playing with my fingers.

"Yeah, but why?" He asked.

"Does it matter!? It's MY choice!" I yelled at him. I thought of home. I let tears fall. I stood up and ran out of the house.

"Evelina!!" He called. I ran down the street. I didn't want to go to the guild. Home. I ran home and got in and closed the door. I locked it. I ran upstairs and went into my room. I also closed the door and locked it. I sat on my bed and cried.
