                          ~ Maya's POV ~

The plane was about to land.

My heart was racing and I felt excited but a bit drained due to the fact I'm not that used to being on a plane with millions of thoughts in my head.

I have a massive headache + jet lag.

Those aren't the best combinations.

I was just so excited to the point where it was painful.

The plane lands and everyone began to grab their carry on-s and began to walk off.

I look at Brooklyn.

''This time, I'll text ya.'' I grin at her and she smiles as her deep dimple appears with a shake of her head.

''That's what all New Yorkers say.''

I laugh and we hug before abandoning the plane as of everyone else.

I held a huge smile on my face as I enter the area where seats were in sections and people greeted their loved ones.

I looked around anxiously and when my eyes couldn't spot the well-known and expected McBoingBoing, I began to lose hope and I didn't know why. My shoulders sunk and tears were so close to welling up in my eyes...

Until...the most angelic voice rang through my ears.

''Oh, Rapunzel...''

I smile so wide as my body slowly turns, my sapphires once again connecting with the most brightest emeralds.

I didn't even take him in, I just ran...and jumped.

My legs wrapped around his waist as my own arms latch around his neck to attach myself completely. His built arms wrapped around my body quickly, holding me close.

I held him closer.

I sobbed into his shoulder, tears flowing one after the other.

"Lucas..."

"Maya..."

I pull back and sets me down, one hand gripping my shirt, holding me close to where we're stomach to stomach as his other hand cups my face, thumb brushing my tears clean.

My mouth opens and I whisper the words I've been dying to say to his beautiful face .

"I love you."

He chuckles," I figured."

I hit his chest as he quickly presses his lips against mine, the soft rhythm becoming my favorite song as we move in sync.

I smile against his lips as he bites my bottom one a bit, making me smile.

"But I love you too." He whispers to me, his groggy voice telling me he had just woken up.

"Do you have any clue how much I've missed you?" I whisper, my eyes looking down, remembering the pain in my heart.

"You?" He asks in disbelief before grabbing my chin, bringing my eyes to meet his own," I almost died."

I bite my lip and smile," After everything, you're here. Not off with some other girl, not that i expected that...I'm just happy that I still managed to keep something as amazing...as you."
