                                                                                   Maya's POV

Christmas was far from over and it was now January. Wasn't warm outside but the days were still amazing.

I was currently in my bed, on my laptop, listening to music while typing up an essay. It was on the history of myself. I decided to be 100% honest. I needed to get this all out of my head for this assignment, considering tomorrow it is due (yes I wait til last minute... bad habits never die.) and tomorrow is also Friday and we're having a bonfire on the beach. I'm really excited because everyone will be there before they all go back home and then we won't see each other until July. Not to mention,  tomorrow , it'll be Lucas and I's one year.

I'm blushing like crazy just thinking about it.

It's all been one hell of a ride.

I just don't want it to end.

My thoughts died down when I feel a hand on my head.

I look up to see a grinning Lucas.

I smile," Hiya."

He chuckles," Howdy."

"Do I need to start locking my windows?" I tease.

He shrugs. "Yes. But I'll still make my way in."

He then forces me to shut my laptop and scoots me over as he lays down.

His right cheek meets my stomach as his left arm wraps around my body as I sit upward.

"What's wrong, baby-boy?" I coo, my fingers brushing through his hair.

"I'm just exhausted." He sighs," All these studies are insane. Also, I missed my baby girl."

I chuckled.

He couldn't be any more cute.

Or could he?

"I was going to text you later." I murmur," I wanted you to help me pick an outfit for tomorrow nights bonfire. So many family members will be there and I just want to make a good impression but look comfy and cute. I mean it's still January, it'll be a little chilly. Hence why we're making a fire."

He huffs. "Babe you look good in anything and everything, I promise."

I hit his head.

"Ow! Why'd you do that?!"

"Because that's not what girls want to hear. They want advice. When we want to impress someone we pull out all the stops. Baby please."

He sighs and sits up before walking to my dresser. He grabs random clothing, taking a look at it before putting it back. He does that for about 3 minutes as I gracefully watch as his muscles flex everytime he reaches for a new article of clothing and I bite my lip anxiously as he turns to me.

"Perfect." He grins lazily before holding it up to me.

(Picture up top)

I gasp. "That is actually freaking amazing. My aunt got me that in Italy and I forgot that I had it. It's beautiful. The whole outfit.. it's perfect."

He grins wider. "Why, thank you."

"How'd you do that?" I ask him in amazement that a boy, a straight one, (not being stereotypical), could tank out such a jaw dropping outfit out of a closet like mine.

He shrugs," it spoke to me."

I raise a brow. "What did it say?"

He tosses it on my dresser and then places a hand on his hip, making a feminine pose before talking in a girly high pitched voice.

"Beachy, beachy."

I threw a stress ball at him that was within reach since I was stressing over studies , 100% and he caught it with ease before winking at me.

I giggle slightly as he makes his way back to me , resuming his position.

He yawns and soon enough you hear his steady breath and soft snores.

"Goodnight, baby-boy."

A/N: This was very very very short but only because it's a little gist of what's happening in the next chapter. Keep your imagination running and it'll be a beautiful one where you wish you were actually there. See you in chapter 27 !
