~ Maya's POV ~

It was the same night...

I was exhausted, but I couldn't end this night without going up to the rooftop of the building, and wishing on my favorite star.

It was my grandfathers star...

My mom bought it for him on his 80th birthday.

He named it "blue..."

He said it'd help him reminder my eye color when he got too old.

I laughed with him when he told that to me,but then a week later...I stood in front of his casket.

Only those things would happen to me.

I look up at the star.

"Blue..." I whisper," I wish..."

Before my wish became clear, I hear footsteps and my mouth remained shut.

"I wish you'd talk to me."

I hear a voice whisper, as it breaks.

My head turns to see Lucas with tear filled eyes.

My heart broke.

Literally, I winced.

"Maya, can't you see me?"

I sigh," See what, Lucas?"

"I'm dead inside." He whispers, his emeralds becoming glossier.

"Do you know what that is...?" He asks me.

Don't say it...

"I'm now broken..."

I shake my head," You're not."

He nods," I am. I am...why? Just knowing that I hurt you, it hurts." He whispers.

That was it for me.

I broke down.

My tears fell hard as I fell into his chest.

We cried together as it all came out...

Everything came out.

"You don't understand how much I cried for hours when I didn't know If you were okay, when I didn't know If you needed me anymore , when I just didn't know! It broke me, Maya.." He sobs into my shoulders .

I cry and my thoughts came out as well.

A little too much of it.

"I will always need you. Im sorry you thought that way, I am." I sob.

"Though...Did it ever occur to you i did what I did because I know, Lucas." I sob, pulling back, hands on his chest, ready to shove when he goes to far.

"You know what?"

"Lucas..." I whimper.

"Know what?" He growls.
