I dropped Kalin off at his moms house to stay with them for the night while I went to dinner with Tay and Myles. I hadn't fully forgiven him yet and I defiantly didn't trust him yet so I told him he needed to stay with Star and Lala for a bit and get his priorities straight.

I pulled the car down Main street and somehow found parking right in front of the restaurant, I payed the meter and made my way inside where I was seated with Myles and Tay who had only been waiting for a few minutes luckily.

"Hows your birthday been so far?" Tay asked with a big smile on her face.

"Its been ok, it just got better though." I smiled back at her.

"How'd meeting with Kalin go?" Myles asked.

"It was pretty rough, but I've somewhat forgiven him." I said as I thanked the waitress who set a water glass in front of me. "He's with Star and Lala right now, I think he's gonna stay there for a few days until he calms down a bit."

Myles nodded as the server came and poured us each some champagne and took our orders.

"So how is your guys wedding coming together?" I asked.

"Well we've decided on the date July 3rd." Myles smiled widely.

"Not quite Independence day but there is still fireworks." Tay explained, staring into Myles eyes with a goofy grin.

We sat at the restaurant long after we finished eating and just talked and laughed for hours until both Tay and I started yawning and Myles suggested we leave. I gave them both big hugs and thanked them for a much needed night out.

I was so tired that by the time I got home I was struggling to make it up the large staircase. Once I finally made it I unzipped my dress and crawled in bed with the dogs, which Kalin would not be happy about.

I giggled to myself as I thought about Kalin fussing over the dog hair in the bed. I flipped back and forth, restless from missing him until I finally decided to pull my phone off the side table and text him. I sent him a goodnight text, assuring him I was home safe and had a good time. He replied back right away.

"Hey babe, I miss you too. Lala and I just made some cookies and she keeps talking about being the flower girl:) and it made me realize how excited I am to marry the love of my life. I love you more than life Abby and I can't wait to see you tomorrow." I read the text over and over again until my eyes got tired and I clicked it off.

And for the first time in a good week I fell asleep not crying but rather with a big smile on my face.
