Have you all ever heard of the Wii gaming system? Not the WiiU (or however you spell that... actually too lazy to google it), the actual Wii. I hope you all did because it's thanks to that amazing, but painful machine my right arm is killing me today. And in case some people are thinking this, no it's not because of Wii Sports or any of those exercising games (hello~ I'm a couch potato... who needs exercise? I'll just... hide my flab...). So what on earth made it seem like I ripped my muscles in half? Alright, *slaps face* let's get typing.
So just yesterday my dad came home with a $25 GameStop gift card (thanks to my dad's co-worker. Sir, I applaud for your donation!). And of course, me being me, I was actually willing to get off my butt and travel to GameStop for a new game. Here's the problem, though I'm somewhat of a gamer, I don't have those new gaming systems like the Xbox 360 or the Nintendo 3DS... I have like Playstation 1 and a Wii system... So you can probably guess how sad I was to see that the NEW Super Smash Brothers game came out... and I couldn't buy it. *Cries in corner*
Anyways, after I pried myself away from all the new figurines (The ones that start with "A" and you actually have to buy them in order to play the character... anyone want to help me out?) of my favorite characters from Fire Emblem, EarthBound and all those other games I adore, I headed over to the Wii section. There were a bunch of games, but sadly, they were all mainly kid games like Dora the Explorer or NickJr... those kind of games. Some were racing, but were motorcross or sports games... things that I will never buy because I'd rather save up for Final Fantasy or something. In the end, what caught my eye was the game Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution 2 (What happened to the first one? Your guess is as good as mine).
And since I'm an otaku, you can probably guess what I chose. Yup, I bought that thing (Only 6.99, not bad) and biked home as fast as I could. Let me tell you this, this game is amazing. You don't really have a lot of modes to start with because you have to unlock all of them, but the definition was great and the story line was downright annoying (which is awesome so I have something else to get mad at). Here's the thing though, to make really LONG combos, you have to shake the Wii Remote... but me, being me, I took it to the extreme!
I was literally flinging my arm back and forth so fast, my parents were looking at me as if I were some martian that had called them mom and dad. It was completely worth it though because within 4 hours, I had unlocked Towa, Komachi, Asuma, Kurenai and Oruchimaru (characters from Naruto). I was completely satisfied... until I went to bed.
My right arm was KILLING me and when I laid there in the heat, my arm just kept pounding in pain... I went to bed at 11 and I literally was kept awake until 3 in the morning. It had hurt that bad and sadly after a while, it got worse until my brain just decided to shut down for the night.
And today when I woke up, the second I twitched a muscle, I felt like chopping my right arm off. I'm right handed, so you can imagine how hard it was for me to wake up, dress up, eat... and of course, turn on my laptop. Thankfully the pain has slowly faded away (not because I chopped my arm off), and I'm able to type. So yay!
So usually I have this short funny blurb at the bottom that's laced with either my sarcasm or my just killing myself for something I did, and this is one of those times where I just yell at myself. "Like really? You were willing to risk your dominant hand to unlock *quickly counts* 5 characters? Child... get a life!"
And then I say this to myself: *laughs* "Life? What life? What life..." *Cries*
Have you all ever heard of those doctors who do implants? Do you happen, by chance, know a doctor who can implant all of the following (even if he/she could give me just ONE I'd be happy):
**Self-Esteem
**A Life
** A Social Life
** Amazing Talents (It doesn't just have to be writing, art or music, ANYTHING IS ACCEPTED)
** Intelligence
**The Ability to eat a bunch of food and NOT gain weight
Drop their number in the comment section below. Maybe once I get all of these crossed out of my list, I won't be writing a book about being a couch potato... maybe it'll be a continuation novel... like Life of a Successful Human Being! *slaps self* Ha... I wish!
