So I play this virtual world game called Ourworld. It's a fairly fun game (used to be a lot more fun years ago though) where you can make avatars and meet other people and such. Technically, a virtual world.
It's there where I meet most of my friends and because I can't trust anyone in real life to actually listen to my problems, I trust people on the internet. LOL. Jk, not not jk. It's for real.
I'm very careful about who I meet because, you know, stranger danger and all that, but there will be rare instances where I feel really strongly about my friends. They've managed to stay by my side and let me be who I care to be.
But then there are those friends where they turn out to be complete liars.
I have this friend on Ourworld called Chocolate Hugs (she keeps changing her name though), who I cared deeply about. She would be goofy and silly at times, and we'd have a bunch of good times.
Until her "friend" decided take over her account. This friend of hers, Mia apparently, somehow managed to figure out how to private her profile, send her heart to other people (which is the dating aspect of the game), remove hearts and change her name.
Just all out of a sudden.
Not only that, when I thought she was my friend, she said that my friend was at the hospital for not eating. I was extremely concerned, because as I've mentioned in my life book, I take any and all my friends seriously.
I knew this girl was my only connection to my friend since apparently she was in control of the account, so I bared with her personality. Mia, the "good friend" of my actual friend, began to pin every possible way to make me feel like I was a terrible friend to my actual friend.
When I wasn't replying fast enough, she'd say that I didn't want to speak with my friends. She had no respect for my opinion while I tried to stay neutral and she even tried playing the guilt card. She called me names and began to search for every possible way to find some fault to pin against me.
However, If I hadn't experienced so many liars and people constantly hounding for some flaw to use as blackmail against me, she might've won.
But I knew how to talk, so I turned everything she said against her. And she was obviously annoyed and when she was backed into a corner, she would pull the guilt card.
Eventually, she allowed me to talk to my friend... But only for 15minutes at first. Why? Because "whelp, 15 minute time limit is up. :P".
So you can obviously see how good of a friend she was to my friend.
But now I have some reason to believe she doesn't really have a friend named Mia. As mentioned above, that is everything that "Mia" had done to me.
So earlier today, I was speaking to Mia and she had pissed me off to the extent that I told her that I wouldn't be talking to my friend's account unless I absolutely knew it was my friend and not Mia.
And then it so happened that my friend was in the same room as her. So I talked to her and left early because of something Mia told her. However, I didn't want to tell her because if it so happened she actually was just discharged from the hospital, I didn't want her to get sad bout her friend since it might affect her health.
And when I logged back in, she had sent me a msg. It literally said along the lines that unless I told her what I had said to Mia, she wasn't going to eat.
And that's when I realized it. It took me a few rereads, but I realized that she was trying to take advantage of how much I cared about her.... all for some information.
At first, after I told her I wouldn't tell her and that if she eats or not eat is put to her choice, I felt extremely worried. But then I realize that it really was her choice... And that her choice to approach me for answers felt similar to Mia's way of talking to me.
So. To Chocolate Hugs. Tell me before I find out the truth. If you are doing this to mess with my feelings, then I really despise you. You don't have to feed me a million lies to convince me.
If you aren't lieing.... then why? What kind of a friend are you to play with my feelings like this? Did our friendship mean nothing not you?
