I know we always say we're "old," and usually I make a joke about it. I'd say that I'm getting so old despite the fact many consider a teenager/young adult to be young... but on Saturday I was confronted with the fact that I, a couch potato, am indeed old.
This Saturday, my niece and nephew came over to my house and met me for the first time... and oh boy... my inner personality was freaking out wondering things like Who brainwashed these kids? and Whose kids did I kidnap this time? (just kidding). But seriously. My mom asked me to get the door... and the first thing I saw were these two angelic looking kids outside my door as if they were going to sell girl scout cookies or something.
And the first thing I heard was: "Hello Uncle Potato!!" (Obviously not potato, but you get the idea). I freaked out... because... I never remembered having a nephew or niece... and now I did. So... apparently I was supposed to babysit them... get to know them... for 12 hours. Yeah...
It was an eventful day.. and if you want know another way of how I knew I was old... it was because after an hour, my back started hurting... for so many reasons...
