Recap: Henrie has a dream where he meets the Queen of Darkness and she gives him a task to perform now he has to find the seer before Yves clan does.
I stared at the Amulet in my hand this can not be real. I looked at Haifa she was supposed to be my sole mate, I don't want the seer. I carefully moved her on the bed and got up and got dressed. What am I supposed to do now how can I perform such a task, I loved Haifa.
I got my phone out and called my mother. On the third ring she picked up.
"yes dearest?" she answered.
"mother we have a problem" I announced.
"and what would that problem be?" she asked.
"I am to find the seer." I answered.
There was a silence form the other end.
"mother?" I questioned to see if she was still there.
"I am here, how can this happen, you were to marry the human girl." she proclaimed.
"Haifa mother, and yes I know. But I think we might have to put the wedding on hold for now" I replied.
"you think" she replied sarcastically.
"just meet me in my office in 2 hours mother" and with that I hung up on her.
As I turned around and I saw Haifa sitting up in bed staring at me.
"Henrie?" she questioned.
I stared at her she was so beautiful, I walked over to the bed and sat down.
"yes beloved?" I asked her.
"I heard you say the wedding is on hold for now, what did you mean by that? I haven't even agreed to marry you." she looked at me with anger building up in her eyes, I could feel her anger as well.
"I know ma cherie, it was just my mother, I had to tell her something to get her off my back" I leaned to kiss her but she moved back.
"I don't thinks so hunny, don't forget I'm still angry with you for last night" she fiddled with the necklace around her neck and held it out to me, "here have this back I don't want it anymore".
I was shocked, "please sweet thing wear it, it will keep you safe"
She slid out of bed and looked around the floor. I walked over to her,
"what are you looking for?" I asked.
"my shoes" she replied.
"why?" I was confused.
"because Henrie I want to leave and get as far away from you as possible, you freak me out and I want out now"
As those words left her lips, I felt my heart brake into a million pieces, I just stared at her, I tried to sift through her mind and nothing all I felt was anger. I sat down on the floor and pulled out her heels from under the bed.
"here" I held them out to her.
She took them and started to put them on "Thanks".
I could feel warm liquid flowing down my face, I quickly got out a Kleenex and rubbed my face clean, when I looked down at the tissue it had gone red.
She got up and said "now where's my purse?"
I got out it from the bedside cabinet and handed it to her.
"Thanks" and with that she left the room.
I walked over to the bed and sat down and placed my face in my hands.
