chapter 15

steph pov:

"i'm sorry I forg-"

"how could you forget something like this!" daisy, Blake's sister shouted at the top of her lungs while pointing to my feet.

currently I'm sitting on a chair waiting for an ice pack for my swollen leg while hearing my mate and her sister bicker back and forth.

" it's not his s s fault t t.."i whispered getting there attention

" what do you mean it's not his fault?! if he would have told me you fractured you leg before I met you I would have let you rest! god! why didn't I notice it sooner? Is that why you were walking behind me? were you limping the the whole time?! Wait don't answer that. You probably were. " she rambled off thinking to her self 

"blake!" she growled 

"like e e I said it wasn't his fault I should have said something sooner." I said, and for the first time I didn't shutter as much

surprising both Blake and daisy

"no daisy right. it's my job to protect you and I totally forgot you got hurt it's my fault, daisy can you tell the pack member to bring me the ice pack up stairs i'll be taking her to are room to rest please."

"finally you do something smart! And yes I got it now shoo..." she said with a gesture of her hands 

that when Blake picked me up (bride style) and took me upstairs 

"okay sleeping beauty there" he said as he tucked me in bed (like seriously I'm not a child I could have done it myself but no he wouldn't let me. Stupid alpha.) " again I'm sorry for not properly taking care of you and before you start arguing with me yes it was my fault now don't say other wise."

he said once he saw me about to open my mouth

"now here are some pain killers" he said while handing me the medicine

once I drank two pills he continued to talk

"i'll be in my office so just holler if you need anything have a good rest my sleeping beauty" with that he got off the bed and left room.

once he left the room I noticed how tired I really was, as fatigue was slowly entering my system I couldn't help but think of my mate but that was short lived as darkness consumed my body.

"what" I mumbled as I opened my eyes and saw darkness 

" what time is it?" I mumbled to myself judging by how dark it is it was probably late, that's when another thought crossed my mind where was blake? Even though the thought of sleeping together makes me slightly uncomfortable I knew it was reasonably late so where was he?

with my night vision I scanned the room and soon found crutches on the side of the wall ( might I add my leg was killing me) with great effort and pain I grabbed the crutches and began walking out of the room and for a slight moment I regret it, as I put pressure on my feet I felt like they were on fire.

with great effort I began to limp out of the room.

" he said he was going to be at his office but where is that exactly?

" don't be so stupid Steph just follow is scent to find him." bell said in my head 

right lol.

now I know what you might be thinking if I'm all alone why not escape? Well the answer is simple, yes I do want to escape more then ever but how can I do that with a fractured leg my best bet is to wait and heal then I can go and start a new life.

so for now that means stay with my so called mate

with that I began to follow his mouthwatering scent and as predicted it leaded me to shut doors

soon I found myself knocking 

"come in" came a reply 

as I looked around it looked like any old office it had a sofa on the side right beside it was a small table, on the other side of the room there was a bookcase (might I add there was a lot of books on it) and in the middle was a big desk were my mate sat at doing work.

"what are you doing out of bed my sleeping beauty!" Blake said alarmed once he looked at me

"w well.." I tried explaining but Blake beat me to it

"you know what the doctor said. you need to rest! What i'm I saying your probably tired from walking, how are you feeling? how your leg? Here sit down" he rambled while pulling out a chair

" I I I just came to see what you were doing since it's already late" I answered 

"it's late already? huh? I didn't think I spend this much in the office sorry about that" he apologized

I didn't know what he was apologizing for I just nodded my head

"good thing I'm almost finish with everything I just need to sign one more thing and then we can go to bed" as he said this he walked around his desk grabbed a pen and signed off the last paper he need to be finish for the night 

"okay done lets go!"

as I began to get up from my chair he did something unexpectedly he carried me bride style

" now what kind of mate would I be if I let my injured mate walk all the way to are room" he said making me blush with that said we began to make  are way to the bed room, where we would sleep together once more. 

all that was going in my mind was

.....

yeah I didn't know either.

sorry for the mistakes you might but I hope you liked it! ( in my opinion this chapter was boring but I promise not all chapters will be like this)
