Rose point of view
Waking up is never fun especially when your last memory is getting shot and being held by hostage by a bully.
Thinking, that I was going to see Tasha's face when I opened my eyes, taking a few deep breaths. That's when I felt pressure on my hand my and the sweet voice of my boyfriend. Admittedly I have fallen in love with Dimitri pretty hard over the last 8 months.
Firstly as I opened my eyes the light blinded them, breathing calmly.
I tried again but instead of being surrounded by the lights of the hospital room I realised. Dimitri was now in my line of sight.
"Roza are you awake
"Dimitri" my voice sounded horse as I touched my throat with my left hand. Dimitri, quickly reached to the hospital table by my bed. Pouring water into the plastic cup he added a straw and helped me to sit up before handing me the cup of water.
It felt like heaven as my throat felt very dry, after I finished, Dimitri sat beside me and placed his right hand on my cheek.
"Do you know what happened Roza?"
"Tasha shot me, is Vika all right Tasha held a gun to her head and took her hostage"
As Dimitri took a few seconds to answer my chest felt tight and I felt like I couldn't breathe. That's when the panic attack began.
"Roza just breathe its ok Victoria is fine she got help you're ok Tasha is now in jail. Everything is just fine just breathe with me"
Once I calmed down I remembered that Dimitri should be with Ivan at the airport. Suddenly curiosity filled my mind. Just as was about to bombard Dimitri with questions he stopped me, placing a kiss on my cheek. Then on my lips I shivered with delight as Dimitri's lips met mine.
Moving, so that I was now siting in Dimitri's lap which wasn't not easy as pain spread through my shoulder.
Dimitri, picked me gently in his arms and sat down on the bed o that I could lie on his chest. Listing to Dimitri breathing, made me better instantly.
"Now are you going to fill me in on where everybody is and how long I have been in this place and why are you not at the airport?"
"Ah about that I was at the airport but not for Ivan but a surprise visitor for you" Dimitri said as he moved me from his arms and headed for the door.
My heart-felt like it was beating really fast, Dimitri was only outside for a few minutes. Although my mind raced of people who I thought it be. Dimitri, had the biggest smile on his face that I have ever seen.
The door opened as I continue to stare into Dimitri eyes, as he stood by my bed.
Then that's when I saw the person who I never thought I would see or hear from again.
"Lissa" I said as tears ran down my face as Lissa walked over to me and pulled me into a hug.
