Percy POV

I arrived back at the apartment to see Hannah miserably packing clothes into her suitcases.
"What is she doing?" I asked Piper.
"Percy, before she says anything, I'm going to tell you this. She's not worth your time." Piper then turned around and walked away.
I stood there with a puzzled expression on my face. Walking into the bedroom, I asked, "Hannah, what happened? Why are you packing?"
Hannah ran to me and threw her arms around me. She began to sob uncontrollably. "Percy, Piper tried to kill me!"
"What? No. She wouldn't!"
"Believe it." Hannah crossed her arms over her chest.
Piper came into the room. "I admit, I went a little crazy, but I had a valid reason. Hannah, tell him."
"Piper freaked out just because I had a friend over from the college course I'm taking. We were only working on a project!"
"Yeah, and that project was seeing how long it would take for him to lose his virginity," Piper muttered, resting her hand on Katoptris.
I turned to Piper. "Tell me what really happened."
After she explained (and swore on the River Styx it wasn't a lie), I spun around to face my fiancé.
"You cheated on me?" I asked, keeping my voice calm.
"I swear, it was the first time!" She pleaded.
"Yeah, more like first that day," Piper snorted.
"Hannah," I took a deep breath. "You are going to finish packing right now, then leave."
Hannah zipped her suitcase shut and slammed it onto the ground. "I was leaving anyway!" She screamed.
As she was leaving, she tore off the ring and threw it at me. The diamond ring hit me in the head.
"Oh, while you were on tour, I slept with over twenty different guys!" Hannah yelled, leaving the apartment.
I picked up the ring and held it in my palm. "Piper, I have a confession to make."
Slipping off my own ring, I held the two (now) worthless pieces of jewelry. "I never really loved Hannah. Sure, she's beautiful, a demigod, and sweet, but she's no... I mean, not right for me."
Piper rolled her eyes. "Percy, you're the world's worst liar."
"I did this all because I thought Annabeth would never love me back. I've missed her like hell, Piper." I sighed. "I... I kissed her tonight. And to think, I felt guilty because of that."
"Hey, it's okay. Can I tell you something?"
"Considering I just told you one of my biggest secrets, of course."
"Annabeth feels the same way." After saying this, Piper added, "But she can't know I told you!"
I smiled. "She won't know."
As I walked into my bedroom, I turned and said, "Hey, Piper? I'm going to need new sheets."
