Taylor Hill is my Victoria :')

I thundered through my apartment closing it behind me and plopping my back against the door in exhaustion. The loud noise made Ashley jump and spill a bit of her popcorn.

"What happened?" she managed to say with a mouthful of popcorn, pausing The Fosters on Netflix. I walked over and sat down beside her.

"She's absolutely evil!" I raised my voice and folded my arms. Ash shook her head in unison with her hands.

"Woah, woah, woah, who's evil?" she asked.

"Victoria Von-Stuben", I said, in a mimicking tone that resembled Victoria's girly pitched voice. Ash gave me a confused look.

"Who's that, and why is she evil?"

"Mrs. Corps decided to hire a new apprentice for Caleb, which means that I'll be competing against her for Fashion Week."

"That's great!" she said, clapping her hands, "You'll win for sure, your designs are amazing." she said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"But this girl looks like a model, she could easily manipulate Caleb into letting her win." I remarked. Ash's hand went to my thigh as she gave ma an assuring smile.

"Well then she's not a real designer, unlike you, who has unbelievable talent." she said. I gave her a smile and pulled her into a hug, in which she accepted.

"Thanks, Ash."

"No prob, girl."

I woke up relatively late the next morning, for I had a day off. Ash had already left because she had to start her shift at the mall. I leaned over my night stand to pick up my phone and check for the time.

"11:30 am." I read aloud to myself. This was the first time in awhile where I got to sleep for more than eight hours, and I enjoyed it.

As I laid in bed for a bit longer to check emails, social media, and recent voice messages, I thought about the drama that happened yesterday.

"Bring it on", Victoria's voice repeated in my mind. I cringed. I'll show that skinny, little, stuck up bitch. I sighed, letting out my discomfort, replaying a voice message from Caleb. Wait, Caleb?

"Hey, Scarlet, I'm sorry for calling so late, but I really felt bad about yesterday. I had no idea what my mother was planning. I guess we were both ambushed." Caleb's recorded voice laughed nervously, which made me chuckle too. It was seriously cute. "So, ah," he began again, "I was wondering if you'd like to go out for dinner tomorrow night? I just wanted to make you feel better, maybe help forget about the tension." he said. My eyes widened.

"Ok, uh, yea shoot me a text if you're interested." the phone clicked as the message ended. I dropped my phone to my side and stared up at the ceiling. Caleb asked me out to dinner? Like as friends? No, workers? It didn't matter, I wanted to see Caleb before the drama at work starts again. I wanted to make sure that Victoria wouldn't be able to take him from me.

Why am I so mad about this? Is it because I'm afraid that she'll ruin my chance to get the promotion? Or am I being jealous because she might have the advantage to make Caleb fall for her? Before I could answer my own thoughts, I sent a text to Caleb.

Scarlet: Got your voicemail! Can't wait. [happy emoji]
Delivered 11:43 am.

I reviewed my message, reviewing many other possible ways I could've replied, even though it was too late. A few moments later, Caleb replied.
