Wednesday went by really quickly. It was just a normal day really. Nothing bad happened, nothing extremely good happened either. I woke up on time, ate breakfast, had my classes, got some assignments, went to a coffee shop for a few hours, went home, and hung out at my place watching TV with Harry. Nothing really exciting happened.
And that was fantastic.
Thursday was pretty similar. I woke up late, but still got to my classes on time. Early even. I went to a different coffee shop, but worked on some sketches there for an hour or two. I took the L train around the city for the first time and I met Valerie for dinner in the city, then went home. When I was going in for the night I ran into Harry who was just leaving his apartment; we talked for a few minutes before I was too exhausted to stand and called it a night.
I had finished all unpacking and organizing in the past two days and I couldn't be happier.
Luckily, I still have yet ran into Jason since that weird night when he came over.
Valerie told me that he hadn't tried talking to her either and he didn't respond to any of her texts or calls. Maybe he is just really busy or went home for something? I hope everything is okay, even if he still is an annoying bastard of an ex.
I talked to my family via skype Thursday night. Well, those whom were still living at home, I mean. Apparently all seven of them are planning to come out for the family event next week. That will definitely be an experience, all of us sharing my little apartment.
Unless I could get my parents to get a hotel room for them and some of my siblings. Definitely trying that now.
But today was Friday.
As in the day that I was to pose for Harry so he could paint something for some project. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. I had only ever posed for Valerie once before and that was just so she could take a quick picture of something she made in an apparel construction class. I even had her cut my face out of it back then.
Tonight though, you have to hold a pose for a long time while someone is painting you. It wasn't just a quick picture on a crappy phone, and all that time alone with Harry is what is making my stomach turn.
I had no classes today, it was supposed to be a 'work day' for all students and teachers. Pretty much all classes here were only Monday through Thursday, with the occasional Saturday morning seminar.
It was now seven in the morning, and I was drinking tea, sitting on my couch in nothing but an over-sized sweater and some underwear, with my hair up in a bun and glasses on, watching another one of those drag race shows.
Obviously, I'm living my life to the fullest.
Valerie had asked me if I wanted to get together for breakfast, but I just didn't feel like dressing up and leaving my apartment. I would much rather obsess and worry about tonight. Harry hadn't mentioned it since he first asked at McDonald's. He didn't forget, did he?
I still hadn't gotten his phone number, but to be fair, every time he asked me I always made some smart ass comment like he did whenever I asked him. We were both a little too stubborn sometimes.
I wish I had given him my phone number when I had the chance, because we said Friday night, but never said an exact time Friday night. He could technically come over anytime after noon and it would be Friday 'night'. Should I go over there soon and just ask?
I shake my head and go back to sipping my iced tea. He probably is still sleeping anyways, I can ask later.
I carefully grab my laptop from the coffee table, and wait patiently for it to turn on. Ever since I ran into Harry at McDonald's and he brought up how he was writing poetry and prose, I had gotten back into my writing.
