After a quick tour of the main floor, Anne had brought me back to the kitchen where we were waiting for Harry. It was a little quiet in the house currently, mostly because Robin was still out running errands, and Gemma and her boyfriend were visiting his family first and would be coming tomorrow morning earliest.

Anne never ran short of a question to keep to conversation going, I couldn't tell you how long we were talking about art and such, she even brought out of Harry's old pieces from when he was 6 years old.

"This one is how I knew he'd be famous for his art one day," she sighed, pulling out one specific drawing of his. She looked so sentimental over the picture, holding it to her chest before showing me.

A giraffe.

But not just any giraffe, a dancing giraffe. I smiled, carefully taking the drawing when she offered it to me to look at it closer.

"He was probably just between 6 and 7 there." I nodded, looking back up to Anne, "he drew a million of those darn giraffe's I think I've got a few more." She started looking through an old box on the table, while I tried not to chuckle.

Who would have thought little Harry was obsessed with drawing giraffes?

"Okay, Mum, she doesn't have to see all of them," I rolled my eyes, turning in my chair to see Harry.

"Please, it'd be my honor." I place one hand over my heart, earning an over dramatic eye roll from Harry before he sat at the stool next to me, taking the drawing from my hands to see it for himself.

"Oh, Mum, this isn't even the best one!" I bit down on my lip as he complained, trying not to laugh at the exchange.

"Come on, you know Gerald was the best out of them all."

"Gerald?"

"Oh yeah, he named each giraffe love, he got attached to them easily."

"What are you talking about, no I didn't!" By now I couldn't help the large grin on my face, Harry's matching mine as his Mom kept digging through the memory box.

"Okay, Mum, I think that's enough for now." Harry sighed, rubbing his eyes with the backs of his hands.

"Wait, what about these pictur-" Before she could even finish her sentence, Harry was up and tugging on my wrist towards a hallway.

"Bye Mum, I'm showing Abby the guest room now," He lead me away from his now laughing mother, who wiped away a few tears before shouting back, "She'll see them sooner or later Hazza!"

"No she won't!" I covered my mouth with a hand in order to try and muffle my loud laughter, but just seeing the way the interacted with each other was both heartwarming and hilarious.

His grip on my wrist had softened until his hand fell onto mine, leading me up a short flight of stairs.

I tried to look at several of the pictures on the walls, but I was being pulled forwards to quickly before the last door on the left was swung open and I immediately stumbled over my feet at the abrupt change in direction.

The room wasn't too big, but it wasn't small either. It had old fashioned wallpaper, but a soft blue, more modern style, bed set.

There was a lovely window seat-bench, which appeared to open up onto a balcony, and there was a vanity up against one wall.

I noticed my bags were in front of my bed, which I thanked Harry for again. When I turned around, next to the closet, there was a small private bathroom.
