Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2 ─ Perrie and Persephone

• Persephone's POV •

"And I'm here to remind you, Of the mess you left when you went away, It's not fair to deny me, Of the cross I bear that you gave to me, You, you, you oughta know."  Perrie sang.

"Is it good?" She asked. "It's good! Just one more try." I smiled at her. She returned it. She sang it gracefully which I like the best. "Is it good?" She asked again. "It's incredible!" I sneered.

"You're so gonna get it!" I winked at her. "I don't think so.. What if they don't like it?" She frowned. "Perrie, don't think about negative. Just pray and hope that you'll get in." I said. She smiled.

"You know you can audition too, right?" she smirked. "Yes I know but I won't." I sticked my tongue out at her. "I don't understand why you don't want to audition. I mean you're better than me!" She exclaimed.

Yes I'm better than you, but for some reasons, your bitch kind of a mother don't like seeing my face. If I audition, she will also see my face at the tv. So thanks, but no thanks.

"No I'm not. You've got the big chance." I smiled. "Alright. Let's just say I have a big chance. But still, you're better than me." She said. "Alright." I agreed.

"Perrie! We need to go!" Mum yelled. "One minute!" Perrie yelled back and turned to me. "Pers, I'm nervous!" She screeched.

"Pezz, don't be. When you're on the stage, just imagine that I'm just beside you." I soothed her.

She gave me a weak smile. "Wish me luck!" she muttered. "Good luck Pezz! You can do it!" I sneered.

She then abruptly hugged me tight. Of course I hugged her back. "Last call, Perrie." Mum called out. Perrie broke the hug and smiled at me.

She then walked away and into the car with mum and dad. Why can't I be just like her?

~ 5 Hours Later ~

"We're back!" Someone yelled at the front door. I'm just here in my room. On my laptop.

Then someone busts in my door, revealing Perrie with a big smile plastered on her face.

"Guess who got in?!" She giggled. My eyes grew wide. "You got in?!!" I exclaimed. Then she screamed and ran towards me and hugged me. And I did the same.

"See?! I told you!" I said. "I'm so happy! What if I get famous?! All we're gonna do is shopping!!" She cheered.

We're. That doesn't include me of course. They don't want me.

"Perrie! Come down! Let's eat!" Mum yelled from downstairs. Perrie looked at me and nodded her head, signaling me to come down with her.

And I did. When we got to the kitchen, mum had a smile on her face when she saw Perrie. Then it faded when she saw me.

"Congratulations my baby girl! You did great!" Dad said and kissed Perrie's cheek. "Thanks daddy!" She smiled.

We all started eating. I feel so awkward eating with them. "Why aren't you eating?" Perrie frowned at me. "I'm not hungry." I replied.

"You did great earlier Pezz!" Mum cheered. "How about you Persephone? Aren't you gonna accomplish anything?" Mum raised her eyebrow.

Before I could speak, she talked again. "Look at your sister! She's halfway to being famous and here you are, nothing but a slut!" She said.

"Debby, language." Dad mumbled to mum. "Well she's suppose to hear it! Just look at her! She's just worthless to the family!" She added.

I can't hold back my tears anymore. I ran upstairs to my room and locked the door. I cried my eyes out while lying on the bed.
