Chapter 10

CHAPTER TEN — How to be Perrie

• Persephone's POV •

I need to think this through. I have to figure out how Perrie acts around these people she works with.

We all know that Perrie is a very jolly person and she doesn't care what people thinks about about her. She always tell me to be yourself which only means that she is being herself when she's with those people.

Perrie's favorite color is pink. She hates cheese. I should use a lot of eyeliner. Oh I know a lot about her! That's one thing I don't have to worry.

Okay, next.. About that Zayn guy. Perrie had a boyfriend before. I noticed that she's really sweet to her past boyfriend. That could only mean one thing. She is also sweet with this guy. But I have to Google this guy. I don't know what kind of person he is.

But what if I mess up their relationship? I don't want that to happen now that Perrie is happy with Zayn. I can't blew this up because everything that's ahead of me are for Perrie.

That band she's in. It's called Little Mix and she's with Jade Pinnock, Leigh-Anne Nelson, and Jesy Thirlwall. Wait no.. I think I got their last names wrong.

Oh well...I'll be on it later. From when we were young, Perrie has always been the clumsy one. Also, her things are always messy. Yep, that's Perrie.

These things are driving me insane! I only have a week until I start being Perrie. This is what I get for harming my sister. I have a bad feeling about this.

"Persephone?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and bolted up and ran to the stairs.

"Yes, mum?" I said while holding the railing of the stairs.

"Perrie's phone." She said and handed me the white iPhone.

I took it from her hand and she walked away with my gaze following her back. When her back was finally out of sight, I ran back upstairs.

I sat on my bed and looked at the phone on my hand. I've never had a phone like this. Although this is not mine and never will be, I'll be the one who's gonna use it.

I clicked the power button at the top and the screen lit up, showing a pattern lock. Oh shit.

Let's see...

What kind of pattern would Perrie put in her phone?

Let's try a 'Z'.

Since her boyfriend's name starts with Z. And that's the easiest pattern I could guess.

I put the Z pattern and it opened.

Well that was fast..

The wallpaper was a picture of us. Me and Perrie. When we both went to the mall and took pictures.

Her smile was so genuine and you could say she was happy. While me, my smile didn't even show a single tooth.

You cannot distinguish if I was happy or sad. In this picture, you could say who I was and who Perrie is.

I jumped up when the phone rang. The caller ID says 'Jade :)'.

Holy shit! What am I supposed to do??

I can't just press 'decline'! Or maybe I could wait until it stops ringing. Yeah. That's good.

I covered the phone with a pillow so it wouldn't make so much noise. After a few seconds. It stopped ringing.

I sighed in relief. I uncovered the pillow and it started ringing again. It says 'Jade :)' again. I panicked and looked around.

Ugh! I have to answer that!

I held the phone with my trembling hands and pressed Answer then slowly put up the phone on my ear.

"Uhm... H-hello..?" I immediately shut my eyes and regret stuttering.

"Perrie! Hi!" I heard her high-pitched voice.

"Hey uhh Jade..?" It sounded like a question.

"One more week and we're gonna see each other again!"

"Haha yeah.. I can't wait." I faked a laugh. But this time it's really fake.

"What's up Pezz? You sound like your sad?"

Oh gosh...

"Oh its nothing.. Just had a busy day with Perri-I mean-Persephone. That's all." That was close.

"Ohh How's your sissy? I thought you want us to meet her!" She sounded excited.

My sissy? You mean Perrie? She's in coma.

"She's fine I guess." Lies.

"Can I talk to her?? Please let me be the one to talk to her first! —No! Me first!— No! Don't listen to Leigh-Anne!"

I heard another high-pitched  voice. Meaning, Leigh-Anne was there.

"She uhm.. She fell asleep! Yeah, she's sleeping. She uhh got tired.. from shopping! Yeah.." I said unsure.

"Yeah but I'll still get to talk to her first, right? —No, me, right??— Stop it Leigh-Anne!"

Leigh-Anne's name rolled on Jade's tongue sounding like Leeyan instead of Lei-Anne.

"Sure.. but uhm.. I have to go. Talk to you later, girls!" I said and immediately.

I sighed and jumped up to hear another ringtone coming from the phone on my hand.

This time, it says 'Zayn <3'.

Uh-oh..
