Chapter 5-Hope-Soul Mates
I got up to my room and flopped on my bed. I had forgotten how soft my bed was. I started thinking about that kiss. It felt so good. I feel stupid doing it though. I didn't even know if he likes me let alone if he wants to kiss me.
Out the corner of my eye I saw something floating in midair. It was a ball of water! I realized that I was actually causing it. I walked over to it and I tried to manipulate it, but for some reason I couldn't change it. Then I tried a different approach. I started to think about the kiss with Dylan. Slowly the ball of water started forming into a heart. I have now realized that my emotions are the key.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I completely lost concentration. Damn it! I walked over to the door and opened it. It was Dylan! My heart started pounding wildly in my chest.
"Hello," he said in deep tone.
"Hi," I replied.
"Can I come in?" he asked.
"Of course," I said. OMG! I am so stupid!
I shut the door behind him and he sat on my bed.
"Come sit next to me," he said.
"Ok," I replied.
I walked over and sat down right next to him. My skin brushed up against his and as our skin touched, electricity ran through my body.
"Look at me," he said in a sweet voice.
I turn my body and look deep into his sparkling brown eyes. He leaned in close and brought his lips to mine. As soon as our lips met, he was the only thing I thought about. As we kiss, he pushes me and I slowly lay down. After what it seemed to be forever our lips finally parted.
"Wow," I said.
"I think wow is an understatement," said Dylan.
"I really like you," I say softly.
"I have liked you since the moment I saw you in that car, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met," He replied with passion.
"Awwwwww," I said.
We move up so we are laying next each other on the pillows. I snuggled up to him, and we start kissing again. It was the best feeling I have ever felt. Suddenly I feel a flash of pain on my forehead. My hand flies to my forehead and I hold it there till the pain stopped. While I was in pain, I felt Dylan's hand fly to his arm.
"What was that?" I asked Dylan.
Dylan didn't reply, he just stared at my forehead.
"Why are you staring at me, what happened?" I asked in a terrified voice.
"Your forehead has a kind of mark on it," he replied after a while.
I looked at his arm. Down the length of his arm was a purple tattoo that stretched from his shoulder to his wrist.
"Your arm," I say simply as I am rushing over to the mirror.
I get over to the mirror and look at my reflection. And yes I can look into mirrors. On my forehead was a purple tattoo with diamonds in each swirl. It looked like a crown.
I look back over and saw Dylan looking at his tattoos.
"What happened to us?" I asked.
"I have no idea," Dylan replied.
"What should we do?" I asked.
"Should we go talk to the King?" Dylan answered questionably.
"But what if this has something about us kissing, what would he do?" I said warily.
