~Yay, another chapter to cringe at in the near future!~
Annabeth's pov*
I woke up to my alarm early in the morning and sat up in my bed. I got dressed into my shorts and Camp Half-Blood shirt, brushed my hair, and put it up in a ponytail. After that, I grabbed my check list and checked my bag to make sure I had everything for the trip. Weeks worth of clothes, check. Hair brush, check. Bathing suit, check. Sunglasses, check. Shoes, check. Toothbrush, check. Emergency phone, check. And my dagger, check.
I put down my check list, put a few books and my laptop in my bag, grabbed my jacket, and left to get some fresh air.
I walked over to the tree that I sit by almost every morning, and started to read my book, Me Before You. I averted my eyes from my book for a second and just took a minute to look at the silent camp in front of me. It was so different from when everyone was awake. I smiled slightly at how beautiful this all was. This was probably my favorite time of the day.
How the light from the early sun beamed through the trees and the wind lightly whistled around the fallen leaves on the ground. The sounds of birds could be heard all around and right above me. brown, green, and red leaves slowly floated to the ground and got carried away by the wind.
Over all the peace and quiet, I heard a door slowly open by one of the cabins. Then another. I stood up to investigate. I looked by the cabins and saw nothing. I shrugged it off and sat back down. Right as I read the first word, I heard a door open again. I stood up quickly and saw (y/n) and Nico trying to quietly run away from (y/n)'s cabin to a nearby hill.
They got to the top and (y/n) later out a blanket and say down in it. She patted the spot next to her, and Nico sat down. (Y/n) laid her head on Nico's shoulder and he slowly pulled his arm around her.
They're so adorable!
I retuned to my book and waited till Percy came.
(Y/n)'s pov*
I was awoken to the sound of what I thought was a serial killer entering my cabin and sneaking up to my bed. This is it I'm dead, I lived a good life. The so called serial killer shook me gently and rolled me over.
I looked and saw the serial killer had Nico's face. I smiled slightly and sat up.
"Good morning." Nico whispered.
It rubbed my eyes and yawned, while sounding like a whale. "What time is it?"
"Early."
"That's not a time!" I yell whispered.
"Just get dressed and grab a blanket."
"Ok."
I wandered over to my closet, grabbed my clothes, meandered over to the bathroom, and got dressed.
I brushed out the messy mop that decided to rest on my head in the middle of the night, and went back out.
"Ready!" You whispered.
You and Nico slowly walked out the door and ran up a hill nearby.
Once you reached the top, you spread out the blanket and sat down. You patted the spot next to you. Nico sat down and you rested your head on his shoulder.
He pulled his arm around you and smiled. "Do you want breakfast?"
"Sure."
You hadn't realized, Nico brought a basket with him.
He opened the basket and took out a container of grapes, some strawberries, and.... popcorn?
"Popcorn?" You asked in confusion.
