~(A/N) Hi, thank you so much for taking the time in your life to read this. I hope you enjoy my very first story! (me from the future. Hiya! I'm sorry if you're reading while I'm editing the chapters. I'm changing the first chapter because I think it's horrible, so I have to change some of the others as well. That's all, enjoy!)~
(Y/n) (L/n). That's what they called you. (Y/a). That's how old you are. You go to Crown Star Academy with your two older (sisters/brothers). Your only ability was (Art/Cooking/Writing). You are dyslexic and have adhd. You considered yourself to be unique, but the world preferred to use the word 'weird'. You wore your weird with pride, even if it got you to be made fun of for it. Your parents even made fun of you sometimes, but it wasn't going to stop you anytime soon. You'd see it as an adventure to pass. Every day there was a dragon in your way to try and bring you down, but you would have to slay it and continue on your adventure. None of your family would help you take on the dragons, so you would just have to be the lone musketeer.
However, you didn't mind being alone. It actually was nice sometimes, but the constant attacks from people would get you down. Luckily, you were ready for whatever life had to throw at you today. For example, a stalker.
Yes, you were being stalked. By some guy around your age it seemed, with green eyes, and black hair. You tried to get away from him the entire day, but he was obnoxiously persistent. As though he were on a mission.
School was coming to an end and you only had one class left to go to. Art class. It was one of your favorite classes with one of your favorite teachers. As you neared the class room, you realized that boy was still following you. This was starting to get annoying now. Your hand hovered over the door handle to your classroom hesitantly. If you left now, you could get home and call someone. There was a possibility one of your parents would be home right now. 'I guess I'll have to miss it today' you thought to yourself and dashed for the front doors of the school.
There were heavy and loud footsteps following close behind you as you ran. Between the running and fear of being caught by this person, your heart began pounding violently in your chest. The louder the footsteps behind you got, the faster you ran. He was hot on your trail as you rounded corners and dodged some very few obstacles in you path. The backpack on your shoulder grew heavier as you ran. The weight of it was holding you back as the man behind you grew closer. After patting your pocket to make sure you had your phone there, you threw the bag off of your shoulder and behind you, hopefully tripping up the person. You were proudly successful when you heard a yelp and the person's footsteps falter for a moment.
The front doors came into view and you booked it right towards them. Luckily, they weren't too heavy and you were able to plow right through them without struggling very much.
Glancing back quickly after making it out and a little ways down the sidewalk. He stopped at the sidewalk and called out. "PLAN B!"
Slightly worried and confused, you kept running. Suddenly, another guy came running out of a bush on your right and tried to tackle you to the concrete floor. You managed to avoid him, his fingers just barely grazed your arm, and ran even faster. The green eyed man had stopped, but the second one was now after you.
You raced into a forested area nearby that you liked to call your territory, mainly because you were the only one crazy enough to actually go in there. The area hadn't been touched in years. There were buildings from countless years ago just rotting away and overrun by animals or wildly overgrown plants.
You dove under branches, dodged thick vines and thorns hanging everywhere, and jumped over logs. By the sounds of it, the boy was still keeping up. When you turned your head to look back at him, you tripped over a root. You had very little time to react and ended up losing the balance you managed to maintain throughout this endeavor, causing you to fall and roll along the slightly slanted floor until you hit a tree.
You sat up quickly, but winced at a pain in your left ankle, back, and right side just above your hip. It was sharp and caused you to fall back down and lie against the tree. The side of your shirt had begun to quickly soak with blood. You looked down and found a sharp stick lodged in your side.
The boy soon came running to you and knelt down to your height. You backed up quickly, using your hands to push yourself further up the tree, and cried out at the pain. "S-stay away."
"Please, I-" He started saying.
"N-no. I wanna know what you and your friend want from me!" You cut him off.
"We don't want to hurt you. We want to help."
"Help with what?! I-I'm fine! I was perfectly fine until you both came and started chasing me! So I wanna know. What. Do. You. Want?!" Every word, every breath, and every small movement caused the stick in your side to dig into your skin.
He started moving closer to you. He held his hands up on either side of his face as if showing he wasn't holding anything was going to make any of this better. "Just come with us. It's ok. We won't hurt you."
"Stop. Stop! I said don't come any closer!" You started getting dizzy.
"Please? You're hurt."
"I'm fine. Get away!" Your voice betrayed you though and cracked a bit.
"At least let me get my friend to come explain everything. Ok?" He asked.
You opened your mouth to fight back again, but stopped yourself. Now could be your chance. There was another way out of here. If he left, you could try to make a break for it. "...ok."
He stood up and began walking away. After he was out of view, you stood up carefully and started making your way out as well but in a different direction. It was difficult when you had a stick lodged in your side, but you'd manage. You came to an opening and found the two boys talking not very far away. You took this opportunity while they were distracted. It took every ounce of energy for you to start running.
The green eyed one noticed first. "PLAN C!"
A girl with blond hair you saw walking on the other side of the street made a sudden turn and over to where you were. You didn't have the time or energy this time to dodge her and ended up being held against her. You squirmed in her hard grip and screamed. "LET GO OF ME!"
The two boys came up and they all held onto the dark eyed one. "Close your eyes." He said.
"No. Just let me go!"
"Close your eyes." He repeated.
You closed your eyes and felt a sudden coldness run down your skin, like opening a door in the winter, then warmth again. You reopened your eyes to find a new scenery. It looked something like a camp. You were let go of, but fell to the ground fast. The world in front of you started spinning and going dark. Everything was just blobs of color and faint, distant, noises. You heard shouts and footsteps circling all around you.
Someone came up next to you and grabbed the stick that made a home in your side. They quickly yanked it out, causing an insane amount of pain to shoot through your body. Whether you screamed or not was a mystery. All you knew was that you wanted to wake up. This had to be a dream. You were lifted up into someone's careful arms and carried off. The last thing you saw were those green eyes, then passed out.
~So yay! I rewrote this again (And again). It was so painful to read the first chapter (Twice). I honestly hated it (Still do). It seemed like a lot of people were confused with some parts of my last chapter as well (Bitch, I'm still confused).
But I fixed it, hopefully (No, I fixed it). Now I need to rewrite the others. Or at least just some of my first ones. That should be fun. I also want to apologize to the people reading while I'm rewriting because some chapter endings are going to be different from beginning ones. So have fun figuring all that out.
Anywho! I hope you have a great day or night, ily!"
