Yeah, there's gonna be a lot of references in this...

Olivia took a deep breath. It was the next morning, and it was also her turn. The problem was, she wasn't sure if the fear was physical or emotional, if physical it would be probably Guardians and stuff like that. If emotional... well... she was in for a bad time. Olivia had this fear for a very long time. Her whole life, really. She looked at the red door with the silver heart. "So... I just go in?" she sighed. Leo nodded. "Don't worry too much. That will only cause more fear." he advised. But Olivia didn't work as well as the others under pressure. Often she panicked when on the spot. She had gotten a little better at keeping her cool, but in a bad situation she still felt nervous as hell. She sighed and opened the door. She began to step into the empty room, but then Axel held her hand. "You'll be fine. Remember, it's not real. You can do this. I believe in you!" he smiled. Olivia kissed him on the cheek quickly before walking inside. Lukas had gotten his awesome outfit, the white shirt and black jeans with all the multicoloured strips like paint slashes. And he had the Artist's Whip. Now Olivia just needed the Aphrodite's Arrow and her outfit to be at full power. She was the Daughter of Love. She could do this! Olivia gingerly paced around the room. Nothing happened. Weird. Maybe it was her dread of staying still for too long? It wasn't really a fear, more of an annoyance.

But suddenly the ground burst open and Olivia fell in. She hit the ground. Then the others fell with her, even Leo. "What's happening?!" Jesse began to panic. Then they saw slimes. A lot of slimes. They were edging closer and closer. "They'll smother us if we don't move it!" Petra cried. They were on a small island, and a broken redstone machine lay in bits, ready to be repaired. "Olivia! Can you handle that, please?" Lukas asked while whipping the slimes. Olivia hastily ran over to the broken barge. But this was invention she had never seen before. She didn't know how to use it. "Hey Olivia? Are you done yet?" Lukas called mid-fight. But the slimes kept coming. Suddenly one coughed up goo at Maya and Petra. "Ew! Gross!" they shivered. Olivia was beginning to panic now. She didn't know what to do. "Will you just do that already, you useless dork?!" Aiden spat at her. Olivia felt a stab. This was her emotional fear.

Failing.

Meanwhile, outside the door, the others were worried. "It's deathly quiet in there..." Axel sighed. It wasn't so quiet in the hallucination. By now the slimes were attacking them. Covered in green, Olivia kept trying to fix the machine. But she couldn't get it working. "Gah! Oh no!" Jess was suddenly knocked over and a slime jumped on top of her. "Jess!" Olivia dropped what she was doing and tried to save her best friend. But it was too late. Jess' inventory scattered everywhere. "I'm not strong enough... I can't do it..." Olivia sobbed. Suddenly everything vanished. Olivia was back in the empty room. The others came in, but Leo looked disappointed. "Jess!" Olivia cried and hugged her friend tight, her wet eyes red. Her outfit stayed the same, and she didn't have her weapon. Leo tutted. "You failed, Olivia. You couldn't face your fear. I'm afraid you will not be able to fight alongside your friends against Ender." he frowned at her. "Hey! You know, facing a fear is more difficult than it looks!" Petra argued. "I agree! It was awful!" Lukas added. "And if my Olivia wants to fight, she can fight!" Axel growled. Leo roared to calm them all down. "Now you listen here! What if a Terrorman looked at Olivia? She wouldn't be able to escape! She would be in a trance forever! Would you all want that?!" Leo scolded angrily. "When I couldn't escape, true love set me free." Axel smiled at his girlfriend, remembering what had happened before with his physical fears. "Well, that won't do you any good against a fallen Child!" Leo snarled and stomped away. "Thanks for standing up for me, guys, but I don't deserve it. Leo's right, I'm not brave enough." Olivia sighed and sat down. Axel sat next to her. "You are brave. You're the brains of the operation, and it takes a lot to be that." he assured. "Don't worry. You can try again. Show that lion what you're made of!" Maya smiled. "Thanks again, guys!" Olivia smiled back. Aiden looked around. "Wait, has anybody seen Jesse?" he asked.

Jesse was outside, looking at the night sky. The stars were all the colours of the rainbow and sparkled like jewels. "And... that's what happened..." he said sadly.
Don't worry, son, I'm always with you and your sister. Me and your mother will guide you. Samuel's ghost whispered. "But what about facing my fears? I think I know what they are. And I'm already scared just thinking about them."
You both are courageous, Jesse, and strong like your mother. Jess also has her stubbornness. She won't go down without a fight.
"I hope you're right."
You don't need to worry as long as you know this.
When things start going South, keep heading North.
"What if I can't go North? What if I'm stuck in the middle?"
Then head East or West. Take a direction you can go.
"Thanks, dad." Jesse walked back inside the hall, where the others were waiting for him.
