13. Rough

Trevor had Marley pinned against the wall terrified.

Marley had never seen Trevor this mad. She instantly regretted slapping him.

"Trevor I'm s-sorry."

"You don't ever put your hands on me! I could kill you right now and make it look like an accident."

"But you wouldn't do that Trevor. Please, just let me go."

"Fuck that! You hit me and no women has ever put her hands on me and got away with it!"

"It's me Trevor. It's Marley! Please, you don't want to do this!"

Marley was so scared she started crying.

Trevor had realized what he had done and he let her go immediately and felt bad.

Marley fell down on the floor and cried.

"Marley I'm sorry! I don't know what I was thinking..Please forgive me."

"Get away from me! You hurt me! Fuck you Trevor!"

"Marley, please I'm sorry!"

"I came here because I felt bad because of what happened yesterday! I came to check up on you and you kissed me!"

"Because I fucking like you!"

"But I don't like you Trevor! You're just a friend! Actually, you mean nothing to me anymore! As of today, don't speak to me anymore because I fucking hate you!"

Marley got up and ran out of Trevor's room.

One of the nurses saw her and stopped her.

"Excuse me, are you okay?" The nurse asked Marley.

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive."

Marley walked back to her room, laid in her bed and cried.


The nurse had went inside of Trevor's room to check on him.

"Are you okay Mr. Jackson?"

"Get the fuck out."

"Excuse me?"

"Bitch I said get out!"

"I will not be spoken to like that!"

Trevor got pissed because she wouldn't leave, so he walked up to her and punched her in her face multiple times.

The nurse was screaming at the top of her lungs.

Stormer and Marley, and some staff members had ran to aid the nurse inside of Trevor's room.

Marley and Stormer had arrived first.

Marley jumped on top of Trevor trying to hold him down.

Stormer went to the nurses side trying to calm her down.

"Get off of me Marley!" Trevor said trying to fight her off.

"Stop Trevor! Have you lost your mind?! You could've killed her!"

"The entire time I was hitting her, I was thinking of you! Now get off of me!"

"You don't mean that.." Marley said with hurt in her voice.

"Yes I do! Now move!"

Trevor pushed Marley down on the ground and walked to his bed.

Marley was hurt by what Trevor said. She was also mad that he had pushed her.

Marley stood up and tackled Trevor to his bed and they started to fight.

Stormer ran to break it up but she couldn't.

The other staff members had came and broke them up and helped the other unconscious nurse.

"I hate you Trevor! You're dead to me! Don't ever speak to me in your life!" Marley yelled at him as she cried.

"Whatever! I wouldn't have hit you if you didn't jump on me like a monkey or some shit!"

Marley had thought back to her school in Charleston where people bullied her and called her monkey.

Marley was done. She had officially given up on people.

The staff was livid at what Trevor had done to one of there own. Instead of them sending him to jail, they put him and Marley in straitjackets and sent them to the quiet room.

Trevor had been in the quiet room many of times before. However, Marley had never been in there before.

The quiet room was a plain white room. It was cushioned all around so you couldn't hurt yourself. When you're in the quiet room, you're restrained the entire time except for when they serve you breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

"This is all your fault." Marley said rolling her eyes at Trevor.

She sat on the opposite side of the room away from him.

"Don't talk to me Marley."

"Stop acting like a baby! Be a man! Oh wait....Men don't put there hands on a women."

"About that...I'm sorry."

"You should be. My side really hurts Trevor. My ribs could be broken."

"Man up! I didn't hit you that hard." Trevor said chuckling.

"Whatever."

"Don't tackle me again."

"Or what?"

"When you jumped on me, it made me mad. You jumped on me for the wrong reason. It turned me on a little though.."

Marley laughed a little to herself.

"I'm sorry I kissed you, and hit you, and got you put in the quiet room."

"Fuck you Trevor. How long do we have to stay in this hell hole?"

"You can leave tomorrow morning. I have to stay for a few days because I hurt that bitch nurse."

Marley thought back to what Trevor had said to her about him thinking the nurse was her and she sighed.

"Did you mean that?"

"Mean what?" Trevor asked confused.

"You said you hit the nurse because you thought she was me...Did you mean that Trevor?"

"Of course not. I said that because I was mad! It was an in the moment thing.."

"Okay well I'm going to sleep. Bye."

"Goodnight Marley." Trevor said smiling.


This was the second time Trevor had slept in the same room as Marley and he felt he had done more than Jacob has. He hadn't slept with Marley, and neither has Jacob but he bet he could get to her before he could..

The next morning Trevor woke up to see Marley sitting there staring at him.

"Were you watching me sleep?" Trevor asked smirking at her.

"Ew! No."

"Don't 'ew! no.' me. You were watching me sleep."

"Yeah. Okay. And? What else am I supposed to look at? The white walls?"

Trevor smirked at her making her roll her eyes.

Suddenly the door swung open to Mr. Green staring at Marley and Trevor.

"Come on out Ms. Jennings. Your time is up."

Marley got up and tried to stand but she felt a sharp pain in her side and instantly fell back on the cushioned floor.

"Ahh! Shit!" Marley yelled in pain.

"Ms. Jennings! Are you okay?" Mr. Green walked over to her kneeling down next to her.

"I think my ribs are broken! Get me a nurse please!"

Mr. Green grabbed his walkie talkie from his belt loop and radioed in for 2 nurses to come to the quiet room.

They immediately ran down to see what was wrong.

"What seems to be the problem?" The male nurse asked.

"I think my ribs are broken. It hurts when I stand and I can't really breathe!" Marley said breathing shallow.

"What happened to you ma'am?"

"I hit her. Badly." Trevor said owning up to what he had done.

"We will give you an x-ray downstairs. Can you hang on until then?"

"Yeah..Sure." Marley said wincing in pain.

About 10 minutes later two more nurses came to the quiet room with a gurney.

They helped Marley up onto the gurney and took her downstairs to get her x-ray done.

'What have I done?' Trevor thought to himself.
