The next morning Marley woke up earlier than she usually did.

7 AM to be exact.

She was overly excited to see Jacob and his friends today!

Stormer was still asleep and Marley had nothing to do seeing as breakfast wasn't going to be served until 9.

It was then Marley decided to go see how Trevor was going.

But before she could go into his room, she had to get a key.

But from who?

Val.

Val worked in the front and he would definitely help Marley.

Marley headed to the front of the psychiatric home in search of Val.

"Hey!" Marley exclaimed as she saw him through the thick glass.

"Wassup kiddo?" Val asked while stacking papers.

"I need a key."

"Did you lock yourself out of your room?"

"No. I wanna go see Trevor."

"You trying to get in trouble Marley?"

"No! I just wanna check on him. Make sure he's okay down there..."

"I'm sure he's good. But I can't just give you a key. I'll get in trouble!"

"Not if you accidentally drop it and I happen to pick it up."

Marley suggestively hinted at Val.

"I always knew there was a reason I liked you kiddo."

Val went into Mr. Green's office and grabbed the key to the quiet room.

"If anyone asked how you got in there, what are you gunna say?" Val asked.

"I found the key outside of the door and I just went in."

"Good."

Val handed Marley the keys and went back to stacking papers.

"Thank you!" Marley yelled walking off.

Marley remembered where the staff had taken her and Trevor the day they had gotten into the fight and went in the same direction.

Once Marley reached the door, she put the key inside of the lock and turned it.

She walked inside to see Trevor laying on the floor sleeping.

He didn't have on his straitjacket so Marley assumed the staff had taken it off of him for good behavior.

"Trevor!" Marley yelled with excitement.

Trevor was startled by Marley's voice but he jumped up without hesitation.

"Marley! How'd you get down here without staff seeing you?"

"I have my ways." Marley said playing with the office keys.

"How in the hell did you get those?"

"Like I said, I have my ways!"

"I see. Well, why are you down here?"

"I came to see how you were holding up down here in isolation. I know you're bored."

"Very bored! I wish they'd let me out already."

"I kind of miss you. It's just me and Stormer mostly."

"Where's Dasia?"

"She's been with the staff a lot, I guess she's leaving soon. I'm not sure."

"What about Val?"

"Val's been busy in the front with work and stuff I guess."

"You and Stormer seem like best friends now!"

"She's really cool Trevor. I'm actually surprised she came around. I thought she'd hate me forever."

Trevor and Marley chuckled.

"Guess what!" Marley said excitedly.

"I don't guess, so you're just going to have to tell me."

"I'm going back to Charleston today!"

"To stay?!"

Trevor's heart dropped.

"No. I wish! My grandmother died and I'm going to her funeral."

Trevor was happy Marley wasn't leaving him, but he was hurt to hear about her grandmother.

"I'm sorry for your loss."

Trevor stood up and hugged Marley.

"Thanks! It's not really as bad as I would've thought."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm really hurt she's gone, but I get to spend time with Jacob! He can comfort me and help me get through this."

Trevor scoffed.

"That's good he's there for you. I am too but you know, he is your boyfriend."

"I don't know when I'll be leaving but I should get going. Breakfast starts soon."

Marley got up.

"Thanks for coming to see me Marley. That was very thoughtful."

"You're welcome Trevor. I'll see you next week."

Marley smiled and walked out of the door.

She locked the door behind her and headed back to the front to return the keys back to Val.

"Thank you Val! That was very helpful."

"You owe me kid!"

"Just let me know what I can help you with and I'll do it."

"You can help me with these papers until breakfast starts and then you can head back to your room before you leave."

"Sounds like a plan!"

Marley went behind the office desk and grabbed a stack of papers.

"Okay those papers go in this filing cabinet. I need you to put everyone's paper in there and make sure it's in the right spot!" Val said pointing at the cabinet.

"Yes sir!"

Val chuckled at Marley's attempt to sound like a soldier.

Marley sat down in front of the filing cabinet and opened the 4 drawers.

Marley filed the papers trying not to read them.

She stopped when she saw her name on a paper that wasn't her own.

'Jackson, Trevor.'

The paper had belonged to Trevor.

But why was Marley's name in Trevor's file?

Marley started to read:

'Evaluator: Evelyn Ready
Patient: Jackson, Trevor
Evaluation #25

Today Mr. Jackson is feeling overwhelmed and lost. He keeps mentioning a female he has identified as another patient in the facility named Marley Jennings. He seems to be showing improvement signs. He has stopped cursing, clenching his fist, and he has stopped lashing out. However, he still gets frustrated easily and still tends to clench his jaw. He stated during our evaluation his feelings towards Marley Jennings. He is lost with emotion and isn't sure how she feels about him. Hopefully in our next evaluation session he will be more open to discuss her and his feelings.'

Marley blushed a little and put the paper away inside of Trevor's file.

Curiosity got the best of her and she went inside of everyone's file.

She learned a little about everyone.

Dasia's mother suffered from severe mental breakdowns and Dasia witnessed them all and adopted her problem.

Stormer was going to name her baby 'Zomari Castle' if he would've lived to full term.

Marley couldn't find Val's folder at all so she just put everything back inside of the file cabinet and got up.

"I'm done!"

"Good job kid. You can go back to your room now. Thanks."

"You're welcome Val."

Marley left out of the office and went back to her room.

"You're up really early!" Stormer said as Marley walked inside of their room.

"I was too excited to sleep so I went and helped Val with some stuff before I left."

"That's cool. Wanna go get some breakfast now?"

"Sure!"

Stormer and Marley headed to the cafeteria and filled their plates with grits and bacon before sitting down by themselves.

"I guess everyone's busy!" Stormer said in between bites.

"I know Val's filing papers, I guess Dasia's still with staff."

"I guess so! So are you excited to see Jacob later?"

"Oh my goodness! I'm really excited! He's going to be so shocked and happy! I hope he's home when I get there."

"I hope you have the time of your life, but not too much fun! I don't want any nieces or nephews!"

Marley thought back to Stormer's file and smiled to herself.

"You know Stormer...Zomari is a really cute name."

"I know right. I was going to na-- wait, where'd you get that name from?"

"I kind of read your file. I'm sorry! Please don't be mad."

"Oh. It's cool! I was just wondering how you knew I was going to name my son that."

"It's a beautiful name. He would've been very lucky to have it."

"Thanks."

Stormer ate the rest of her food and got up to throw it away.

"Let's go back to our room and gossip before you leave!" Stormer said evilly.

Marley threw her plate of food away and went back to her room with Stormer.

Marley sat on her bed and Stormer sat on her own.

"I think Trevor likes you!" Stormer blurted out.

"No he doesn't!"

Marley thought back to Trevor's file.

"He does! I know he does! I've known Trevor for a while and I'm pretty sure he gets nervous every time he's around you. I know it when I see it."

Marley laughed at Stormer.

"Well I think you're jealous!" Marley said jokingly.

"Me?! No way!"

"I'm just kidding!" Marley said chuckling.

Stormer and Marley giggled and joked some more before Marley had to go.

Mr. Green came and knocked on their room door.

"Marley, your social worker is here to get you. Get your belongings and head to the front."

Mr. Green closed the door.

Marley and Stormer quietly jumped up and down.

"Have fun Marley! I'll see you when you get back!"

"I will Stormer! Thank you, I'll see you later."

Marley grabbed her suitcase, hugged Stormer, and walked to the front.

"Are you ready to go Marley?" Marley's social worker Ms. Marino asked.

"Yes I am."

Marley and Ms. Marino walked out of Youngsville Psychiatric Hospital and went on their way to Charleston.
