Third person point of view.
Dan sighed as he entered his dorm room for the first time. "This is where I'll be studying for a few years. And I'll be all alone!" With a sigh and a half-happy smile, Dan flopped on the bed and shoved his face in a pillow. His eyes slowly closed, until someone barged through the door. With a groan, Dan looked up to see a boy who looked about the same age as him standing in the doorway. His arms were wrapped around two some-what attractive girls. "Who's ready to party?!" The boy shouted, causing Dan to flinch. "Oh, shit. Nevermind, girls." He stated. "We have a shy introvert on our hands."
Dan looked up, pulling his sleeves over his hands. "I'm not...ugh." He sighed, rolling over onto his side. "You don't even know me, dude. Don't judge me until you know me. P-please.." The boy let go of the two girls who simply walked out of the room. He shut the door and made his way over to Dan. "Sorry, little squirt." He said to him, gently pounding his shoulder. "I'm Phil by the way." Dan nodded and blushed, turning his head away. "Dan." He simply said.
Phil took a seat on the bed next to him and sighed, "I'm sorry you got placed with a partier like me. I'm definitely an extrovert, but you're just shy and to be honest, it's adorable. But, yeah." He said. Dan chuckled lightly in embarrassment and shook his head. Phil fixed his orange and blue tank top before placing orange sunglasses upon his face. "I'm gonna go," he said to Dan. "I'll be back later, new bro."
Phil left, leaving Dan with a smile. 'New bro'? This meant a lot to Dan. He never had a friend, and now he does. Dan chuckled and soon fell fast asleep.

"Wake up, Dan." Dan heard a voice say. He looked up to see Phil, smiling down at him. "Morning, lil bro. You slept forever last night. Well time to get up." Phil chuckled and winked at Dan, causing him to blush. "I'm up, I'm up.." Dan chuckled, sitting up and slowly walking into the bathroom.
He soon came out and pounded Phil in the arm, "Hey.." He said shyly. "Hey, so I'm going to a party. Do you wanna come?" Dan's eyes widened, "Um..I don't um.." Phil laughed, "Please? I need a friend. And you're my friend. Have you ever been to a party?" Dan shook his head eagerly and chuckled, covering up the blush that had invaded his cheeks. "No..I've never..been, um..I don't know if I should go. I'm really shy.."
Phil grabbed Dan's chin and brought it up. "Don't worry, Dan. You're fine. As long as you're with me, you'll be okay. Please?" Dan let out a breath of air before nodding. "Sure, I guess. Let's go." Dan shoved past Phil, pinching his own cheeks. He was blushing way too hard to function.

"Welcome to your first party, Dan!" Phil shouted, wrapping his arm around Dan. He then grabbed a girl and snaked his other arm around her waist. "You sure are the 'man candy' of the school or whatever. Congrats?" Phil nodded with a chuckle as he began to dance. He unwrapped his arm from the girl and grabbed Dan's hands. "Dance with me, Shy Boy." With an eye roll, Dan shook his head. "Hell no. I can't dance. I'll look like a dying horse. Please don't make me.." Phil winked and pulled Dan closer, making him sway to the music. "Philll," Dan whined, trying to mimcik Phil's sway movements.
Just then, the room went dark and disco lights began to shoot everywhere. "Come on," Phil shouted over the music. "It's dark. Nobody will see!" "Fine!" Dan insisted. He began to twirl and sway with Phil, until he tripped over his shoelace and fell into him. Phil grabbed Dan's waist and held him, their noses touching. With slight hesitation, Phil closed the gap by placing his lips to Dan's. "Shit," he sighed, pulling away. "I'm sorry, D-"
Dan interrupted Phil by roughly pulling him into another kiss. Dan smiled, "The kiss made me realize I was in love with my new roommate."
