Hero stammered. "I didn't- its just-I was" Herobrine smiled and said, "You're lucky I didn't use your full name. Its..." Hero covered his mouth.
"I-its just Hero. Nothing else." Hero said nervously. Herobrine glared at Hero and easily pulled her hand off.
"Well if that's the case I guess I have nothing to say..." he pretends to leave. Everyone started yelling about how they wanted to hear her real name.
Before Hero could cover Herobrine's mouth again, Herobrine said "Her real name is...HERAINE!"
Everybody started laughing and making fun of her. They were so busy laughing that they didn't notice her stomping up to the roof, leaving footprints burnt into the wooden floor. I slipped away from everyone and followed her.
I found her sitting on the roof, looking out over the city. She was so wrapped in her thoughts, she didn't see me until I sat down next to her. She looked at me but said nothing.
After a couple minutes, Hero broke the silence. "Why did you follow me? I thought you guys were having a great time laughing about my name."
"I wanted to find out why you were so upset about a name. I mean my parents named me Maverick. I've have experience in bad names. "
Hero didn't smile but her mouth went up a millimeter. "It's not that. Its just... my mom gave me that name."
"And...?" I said.
"And she's dead now. I don't want people to know my full name because they'll make fun of it. And them making fun of it makes me mad because its like they're making fun of my mother. So I changed it to Hero and didn't tell anyone."
"You don't have to be embarrassed. I think that Heraine is a great name. It really suits you. But if you want I'll tell everyone to stop making fun of you."
. For the first time since I met her, Hero actually smiled. "That would be nice of you" she was about to leave when she turned around and said "and thanks...for everything"
"No problem" I said. I was just about to leave too, when the door slammed shut in front of me. Behind me, a voice spoke "I have my eye on you Maverick, son of Alister. I turned around. It was Herobrine sitting on the ledge.
