We were all hanging out on the couch. We were all laughing about how Sparky's dog got his head stuck in that popcorn bowl. October even got out her phone and started recording it. Hero suddenly stopped laughing and said, "Oh...uh I forgot. I need to do something in my room. Just keep watching the movie, It will only take a couple minutes."
Hero sprinted up the stairs. We all looked at each other. Hero's room had been a mystery since we first came to the house. It had always been off limits.
"What was that abou?" I asked. "Hero has been acting weird for a while"
"I don't really know but now I really want to go into her room" Sparky said.
Cherry just rolled her eyes and said, "Well, aren't you a rebel."
"Yep" Sparky said. "and any other rebels can follow me to Hero's room" She turned into a leopard, and went upstairs to Hero's room.
Zap, Hooktooth, Cherry, and me ended up following her. "So Rebel, how do we open the door?" I said to Sparky.
"I will use my mystical powers to open the door" She turned the knob and opened the door. She looked at my face and laughed. "It was unlocked, genius" We walked in and stopped.
Hero's room had weapons on every wall and punching bags hanging from the ceiling. Hooktooth punched and yelled. "I think that's solid metal!" Zap covered her mouth, "Shut up! You're going to get us caught."
Cherry saw something and ran to the desk, "Oh my god! This is amazing! Hero has a diary. This is gold" she started flipping through the pages, "This is gold! I'm going to have so much dirt on her"
Sparky just rolled her eyes, "Who even has a diary anymore?"
"Who cares? Open it!" I said. Just as we were going to open it, Hooktooth said, "Does anyone else feel hot?" We all turned around to see Hero with red eyes and flames surrounding her. She yelled, "Get out. NOW!" We slowly put the diary down and backed away.
Hero looked at us and the flames died down. "Sorry guys. Did I overreact?"
"Just a bit" I said.
"I'm really sorry. But seriously get out of my room"
We all ran out of her room happy to be alive.
