Under The Same Roof

Chapter 8

"HOOKTOOTH! ZAP! GET OVER HERE NOW" Hero screamed. Hooktooth and Zap looked at each other.
"She found out. We're doomed." Zap said.
"I told you to hide the sword when we're done!"
"What did you do this time?" I asked.
Hero held up a katana cut in two, "I don't know how you dp these things. The door was LOCKED! And this is supposed to be INDESTRUCTIBLE! Stop playing with my swords!" Hero looked like she was going shoot lasers out her eyes.
"But...but they're so shiny though..." Zap said.
Hero rolled her eyes,"Whatever. Just dont touch my stuff." she glared at everyone. "Got it?"
Hero went back upstairs. And we went back to watching TV. But, all of a sudden, Hero came downstairs. Cherry stood in front of her. "Where are you going" she said.
Hero looked nervous "Somewhere private. Mind your business" Hero slammed the door behind her. Cherry looked at the door, hurt.
"Nuu...we were going ziplining..." Hooktooth said sadly.
"She's seems to always to be always hiding something. It's so annoying." I said.
"Yeah" Cherry said. "I'm going to follow her to see what this private business is."
Sparky faked cough, "Stalkers!" Hooktooth and Zap both giggled.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Let's go Cherry." We both left. Luckily, Hero hadn't gone that far. We followed her quietly. She suddenly stopped in front of a shady looking building.
"Who is she talking too?" Cherry asked.
"It think it's an earpiece or something. I think Hero might be a secret agent or something." I said.
"So thats why she's always so secretive." Cherry said. She looked upset. "I thought we were friends. We're supposed to tell each other everything."
"It's OK. She couldn't exactly tell you about that."
"Whatever" Cherry said. "She's going into the building. Let's go." We slipped in with everyone else. Cherry put up her hoodie up to ears. I already was hiding my wings under my sweater.
Cherry suddenly gasped and pointed. Hero was surrounded by guards. One ripped off her hood and yelled, "Spy!"
Hero knocked them all out and said, "That's agent to you." It was chaos. Everyone started running out. We were sneaking in closer when we heard a voice behind us yell "Stalkers!". We turned around to see a jaguar behind us.
I rolled my eyes. "How did you even find us, Sparky?"
She turned back into a meifwa and smirked. "What I can't have any fun?" Wes came behind her, "Yeah. We're just trying having fun."
"And where did you come from?" Cherry asked.
"Well bye." Wes said. Then they jumped off the roof. Down below, Hero was done fighting and was holding some kind of briefcase. She argued with some dude. Then she went out the exit.
"We need to beat her home!" I said. I started flying home.
Cherry sprinted behind yelling at me to wait up.
