It was like a Mexican standoff with the two of them looking at each other. We all stood there wondering who would make the first move. I leaned next to Hero, "This will not end well."
For the first time today, Hero actually looked concerned, "Yeah..." Allister suddenly grabbed me and Mom, and pushed me behind him. He summoned a fireball. "What are you doing here Brine? Have you come to finish of my family?!"
Herobrine summoned a sword that seemed to be made of shadows. "I could say the same thing to you, Allister!" He picked up the bag "And I was actually dropping off a bag my daughter left."
"Likely story, Brine. I was visiting my son, only to see it was all a trap set by you. But I'm not going to fall tor your lies again. Not after you almost killed my child!"
"And I don't think I can trust anything you said after you DID kill my wife!"
"Wait, WHAT?!" Hero said. "YOU DID WHAT TO MY MOTHER?! HOW DARE YOU KILL MY MOTHER YOU STUPID DEMON! YOU SEE THIS?!" She moved her hair off her eye to show a large scar. "THIS WAS A PRESENT FROM THAT ASSASSIN YOU SENT TO KILL HER!" She looked like she was about to strangle my father. Before I could tell her that was a spectacularly bad idea, she stormed out the door.
Herobrine glared at her, "Good job , Allister. You broke my daughter."
"Oh now it's my fault that your daughter couldn't handle your lies."
"She deserves more respect than some of your 'royal subjects'." Without another word, he walked outside. "Heraine? Come here this instant, young lady!" They probably had a moment or something, but I have no idea because I wasn't there. But if I was there it probably went like this: Herobrine finds Hero leaning against a tree. Hero is all sad because reasons, and Herobrine tries to apologize also because of reasons. Then Hero climbs the roof also because of reasons, which is where I find her.
I sat next to her. "I'm really sorry about my dad...he's not usually like this I promise. Most of the time he is a pretty cool guy."
She looked down. "Those mobs in the nether were right."
"I don't understand why my father acted like that. He is just as much as a monster as you are. Not that you are a monster or anything. You're just as normal as we are. I mean...uh you're not like boring or anything but...I mean...never mind"
Hero didn't seem to hear anything I just said. "I really miss home."|
I stared at her, "You can't leave! We would all miss you!"
She looked at me pleadingly, "What choice do I have? Everyone seems to hate me for something that isn't even my fault."
"We all want you to stay here. I want you here."
Her hair fell in front of her face, hiding her tears. "I wish I was human. I don't understand all these stupid feelings."
"Well I'm not human either. Maybe we can start a club or something."
Hero stared at me, "Where did my father even attack you?"
I lifted up the side of my shirt to show her the scar. It was pretty thin, but long.
"Oh." she said "I can't see out of my left eye because of this scar."
"Well, I guess we are both part of the Hideous Scar Club, too."
"I guess we are, Chicken Wings"
"How dare you call me that, Pickle Brine."
"That was the worst pun ever. Of all time."
"Yes it was, Empress Hero" I grinned at her.
"Shut up at least pickles are delicious. And because of that you new name is now Chicken Wings." She smiled back at me.
"What are you talking about? Pickles are soaked in EVIL." I said laughing
Suddenly she stopped laughing. "That's who I am I guess. Pure evil."
"What are you talking about? You are like the opposite of evil, Miss Pickle."
Hero looked at me and smiled. "Thanks." We both got quiet, looking over the city on the roof. It was so...peaceful.
That is, until my father called for me downstairs. I rolled my eyes. "Dad, just stop." He teleported to the roof in a explosion of fire.
"What was that, young man?"
