Epilogue and Closing Notes

The not too distant future...

Another day, another criminal on his way back to Arkham. Robin was staring down at the GCPD truck which had come to take the Penguin back to prison. Nothing out of the usual for Tim Drake.

Meanwhile, his old friend Dick was making headlines all over the country with his new team. He was glad they were doing well. What was more, he thought it was cool Bruce had agreed to help support them by secretly funding them. Dick was sure to have appreciated that. It just showed how much his old mentor still believed in him.

Speaking of Bruce. "Robin, how did things go today?"

"Pretty well, Bruce. The Penguin shouldn't be bothering us any time soon."

"Good, because we need to talk."

Robin was taken aback by the tone of voice. It sounded serious, even for Bruce. What could it be?

"It's okay, Bruce. The situation was taken care of without incident."

"This isn't about your performance, Tim," said Bruce. "Well, actually, it is. You've made some real progress over the course of this year alone."

Tim had not heard Bruce talking like this before. He was one to give compliments, but he wasn't usually this direct. So where was he going with all this?

That was when Bruce added, "And that's why I've been in contact with Dick. As of right now, you have an official invite to join the Titans."

Whatever he had been expecting him to say, this didn't come close. And yet it was gratifying. Bruce was telling him, like he had told Dick three plus years ago, that he was ready to call his own shots.

"Thanks, Bruce. Let Dick know I'll be on my way soon."

This was a story I enjoyed writing exponentially. Bringing the Titans together in a new unique manner was a splendid pleasure, and I thank all my followers who have stayed with me and waited for this story. Now for some important announcements. I will not be writing any more individual stories for any of the Titans featured in this story. This doesn't mean, however, that the adventures with the Titans will be over. Instead, they will return in shorter stories, which will be released in the near future. In addition, I will also be doing more full length stories for other teenaged heroes, which are also under development. When these stories are ready to be released, I will inform my followers. Until then, I will say thank you again for following me, and take care, everyone.
