Oracle had not wasted time getting to work after the others had gone. The best way she could help them now was by attempting to hack into the H.I.V.E. security. Unfortunately, she wasn't having much luck on that score.

Whoever had designed the security for the H.I.V.E., they could give Bruce a run for their money. After over fifteen minutes, which was usually enough time for her to gain complete access to a system, she had only got through three cameras. Two of them were completely destroyed, while the other was covered in dirt, giving her a blurred image.

"Blast," Oracle muttered to herself in frustration. "We've only got forty-five minutes, and that won't be enough time to get useful intel." She sighed exasperatedly. "Really wish I had Cyborg to help me out here."

Rubbing her temples, she turned her attention to the camera showing her the room where they had placed Cyborg's body. To her surprise, she found the room to be empty. Cyborg was gone.

Oracle thought this through. No one had come in or out of the tower since the others had left. But how could Cyborg had moved on his own power?

There was only one way to be sure of where he had gone. Bringing out her communicator, she called into it, "Cyborg, do you read me?"

She was suddenly aware of her own voice echoing. Then she noticed the large shadow behind her. Turning her chair around, she saw Cyborg, looking better than she had seen him in a while.

"Yeah, I read you," Cyborg replied behind her.

Oracle was shocked to see he was back on his feet, but she was pleased, too. Still, something didn't add up. He had been by an electromagnetic pulse. So how could he be standing here now?

"How are you still functioning? That was an EMP they hit you with. How did you...?"

"Recover so quickly?" asked Cyborg. "Well, my dad was a scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs. He is the reason I am part robot, you know."

Now Oracle understood. "So he basically upgraded you with software to reboot your systems in the event of coming into contact with electromagnetic energy."

"That's pretty much what he did," Cyborg confirmed. "Now, you mind filling me in on what's going on? Where did everybody go?"

"I think you know where they've gone," said Oracle. "They need your help. In less than forty minutes Brother Blood will have all the power he needs to control the country. I've lost contact with Nightwing and Starfire, and no one else is responding. I need you to go in for me and be my eyes."

"What about the virus for the power amplifier?" asked Cyborg. "Has anyone found it and sabotaged the machine?"

Oracle shook her head. "The machine is still operational, which makes you or best chance of salvaging the mission and saving millions of people, including our friends."

Cyborg could tell it wasn't going to be easy. If Nightwing was offline, as well as Starfire, they were definitely in trouble. Without their leader and one of their strongest teammates, the H.I.V.E. would have a serious edge over them, an edge they couldn't afford to keep over them.

The problem was, the H.I.V.E. also had some heavy hitters. They had Shimmer, Cheshire and Sportsmaster to enforce the grunts. They had Red Hood to coordinate, and Terra as the ultimate weapon.

"I know what to do," said Cyborg, taking his eyes off Oracle's computer screen and meeting the hacker's eyes. "I can carry the virus to download into the power amplifier. But before I can even attempt that, something's got to be done about Terra. If she spots me and figures out what I'm up to, I'm as good as dead. I won't be able to take her on my own."

Oracle was silent for a moment. Cyborg was right. They needed to take out Terra before they could attempt to cripple the power amplifier. But she wasn't going to down easily. There had to be a way to deal with her, though.

That was when she spotted the Vertigo Blaster beside her computer screen. And then the answer came to her in one flash of inspiration.

"Victor, I know what to do."

"I'm all ears," said Cyborg.

"First thing isfirst. While you transfer the virus into your systems, I need to see if I canget in touch with Raven."
