chapter twenty nine

Izzys pov

*Last Day of School*

I wake up and the sun is shining through my window. last day of school. thank god. I want to get out of there, I want to be able to spend more time with my friends. and more time with Chandler, obviously. I get up and put on a pair of jean shorts with a black cami. I put on a thin flannel and roll up the sleeves. I put on my high tops and straighten my hair. I go downstairs and my mom and brother are in the kitchen. my dad must of already left for work.

"morning lovely family" I say and put some toast in the toaster.

"morning honey" my mom says fixing her coffee.

"Connor you excited that it's the last day of school?" I ask him.

"yes! it's so boring and so much work" he groans.

"sorry bud but it doesn't get better in high school" I shrug and ruffle his hair. he groans again and laughs a bit. I smile and make my toast. I eat and say bye and I head to school. I walk down the hall and get to my locker. Allie is standing at her locker.

"yo yo" I say to her and open my locker.

"sup girl" Allie says.

"nothing. sup with you"

"nothing. thank god it's the last day of school" she sighs and leans against her locker. Luke comes over and gives her a quick kiss.

"hey you" she grins and stands back up. he smiles and puts his arm around her. I smile at them and grab my books. I feel arms wrap around my waist and pull me close.

"I swear if you're a rapist you better get off me now if you want to see another day" I joke knowing its Chan.

"alright dang woman" he says and let's go of me. I laugh and turn around to face him.

"morning handsome" I grin and give him a kiss.

"morning gorgeous" he smiles. "now I have to ask, did you get enough sleep last night or are you just really violent today?" he jokes.

"oh Chan, babe, I'm always violent you know that" I laugh.

"true" he shrugs and laughs. I shut my locker and grab his hand. Allie and Luke go to home room and Chandler and I walk around a bit more till the bell rings.

"so are you good to come over after school today still?" he asks me and kisses my hand.

"so far yes. I'll let you know if anything comes up but nothing should" I nod.

"good. because I want to spend time with you" he smiles.

"why? you want more back rubs?" I tease and walk ahead of him to home room. I hear him chuckle behind me and follow. we go through our first classes and finally lunch. I walk in and Allie, Luke and Chandler are all sitting at our usual table.

I sit next to Chandler "hey" I say.

"Izzy you missed it Chandler tripped and almost fell coming into the cafeteria" Allie giggles.

"aw I wish I saw that" I laugh.

Chandler looks over at me "wha-? babe!" he laughs.

"sorry. I like when people trip. it's comical" I shrug and start eating. he rolls his eyes and puts his arm around me. after lunch we all go to our last classes and finally it's the end of the school day. no more school!
Allie and I run to our lockers and grab our remaining things.

"get me out of this prison" she says slamming her locker.

I laugh and shut mine "so how are you spending your first moments of summer?"
