Malachi looks at me crazy.

"Why in the hell do you like him?!? He beats down on you with words and his hands! You shouldn't like a guy who hurts you!"

 "I know, but when we were younger, he would be so sweet and plus he's so.... cute."

"Listen, you're new okay? So you really don't know anything else about this whole situation."

"You have a point, but I just don't wanna see you getting hurt from some bitch ass nigga."

"I know I'm fine."

"You sure? Because I can protect you from him."

"Haha no I don't need security." We both laugh and I crack a smile.

"Alright just checking."

The bell finally ring. Everybody starts running to their classes.

"Oh I have to go. See you later Mally"

"Haha bye Jay Jay."

Aww Jay Jay!! He smiles and walks to his class. I slowly enter my class. Health. Everybody is sitting on their desk talking and laughing. I go to a chair all the way in the back. Then I see Daveon, his friend Kelly and Robert walks in laughing. I see Kelly pointing at me.

"Aye Dirty Bitch!!! How's your ankle????"

"Its ok-kay."

"Damn I should've fucked it up more."

Everybody starts laughing at me. The teacher comes in. Finally!!

"Okay sit in down everybody!! Time to watch a movie about taking care of a newborn baby."

Stephanie, one of the girls in my class, screams.

"Yass! We don't have to take any notes!"

"Be quiet or we will!! Kelly hit the lights."

"Mr. Brown YOU cut the lights! Need to shed some weight anyway. Lazy ass motherfu(GCO)"

The class starts chuckling

"You haven one more time to talk smart young man!"

"Ok whatever you say."

Kelly gets up and turn the lights off. The movie starts to play. I start lightly singing this song I fell in love with.

Daveon p.o.v

I hear something that sounds good. I turn and see Jalaya singing. Damn she can sing. I get a piece of paper, roll it up and throw it at her head.

"Shut the hell up hoe this is not a fucking concert!!"

"Mr. Jefferson, zip it and Ms. Bailey, zip it too"

"I'm sorry."

I look back again and see Jalaya texting on her phone. She starts laughing quietly and smiling. Her smile though...it's radiant.... nigga stfu you don't like her Davey!!! Anyway the lights turn back on.

"Okay class today, I will pair you guys up. A girl and a boy will be partners for 2 months to takecare of a fake, but almost real baby. So this time I am going to pair you guys up."

He starts pairing guys up, but he haven't call my name yet. I raise my hand.

"Yes Daveon?"

"Well who is my partner?"

"Oh yea. Hmmmm. I know! Your partner is Jalaya."

The class stops and looks at Jalaya. She lifts her head up and looks at me. I point at her and give her a evil smile. She gets up and walks to Mr. Brown. She starts whispering in his ear then he looks at me.
