It's just me, Kelly and jay sitting at the table. We stay talking then Kelly spots a girl.

Kelly: Oh imma ask her if she wants to skate with me.

Kelly quickly gets up and skates over to the girl. Now it's just me and jay. I look at her while she starts fiddling her fingers

: Aye Jay.

Jalaya: Yes?

: Wanna skate with me?

Jay: Uh I don't know. I'm still trying to skate.

: Its cool. I got you.

I get up and grabs her hand. She smiles and gets up with me. We skate over to the rink. We both skate onto the floor holding hands. Gus and Valerie are skating and laughing around while Willie and KeKe are kissing and shit. The song, " If this isn't love" by Jennifer Hudson. I look over at Jalaya. She grips my hand tighter. She looks at me.

: You alright?

Jay: Yea! I think I know how to skate fully now.

: Haha finally!

Jay: Shut up you dildo

: Me? You a little skinny and pointy dildo!

Jay: Psh no nigga.

: Yea little nigga

Jay: Keep it up. I will make both of us go down.

Jay: Okay

She falls to the ground while tugging me to go down with her. I start laughing while she tries to bring me down. She gets my shirt and drags me down to the ground. I give her a evil look while she is laughing at me. We both get up and start skating again. Kelly skates up to me whispering in my ear.....

Kelly: Did you ask yet?

: *Whispering back* No! Why?

Kelly: Because you like her and she likes you. Just ask her and if she says yes, you owe me ten bucks got it?

: Yea yea

I look over at Jalaya while Kelly and his skating friend is behind me. I sigh

: Jalaya...

Jalaya: Yea?

: I was wondering if uh...

Jalaya p.o.v

He starts looking at the ground. What is he gonna say?

Daveon: Do you wanna... you know... uh go with me to the movies tomorrow night?

Oh my god. THIS LONG HAIRED NEGRO JUST ASKED ME OUT!! My heart starts beating out if control. I start to catch my breath. I look at him with burning cheeks.

: Sure!

Daveon: Really??

: Yes I'll go with you.

Daveon gives me a shy smile.

Daveon: Cool what about at 8:15 because tomorrow imma be at football practice to help the coach. It ends at 7 so when I get back I can change and shit. Is 8:15 good for you?

: Perfect!

Daveon: Haha alright.

Kelly: Ha! Now pay up nigguh!!!

Daveon sighs and gives him a ten dollar bill. I giggle and he smiles at me. This has to be the best day of y life!!
