The sky was filled with stars, but no moon. The moon was hiding behind the soft dark clouds. I was laying down in the football field with Tyler. I glanced over at him memorizing every detail of his face. Then his soft wavy hair flopped on his head revealing his bright green eyes that could tell a story of their own. Tyler and I have been friends since grade school his mom and my mom met in college and instantly they became best friends. And, I guess you could say the same happened with Tyler and I. I stare at the stars, and this small bright one catches my attention. While gazing upon the star Tyler points out the big dipper. While we both try to find the small dipper I hear someone running towards us. It's my little sister, Kenzie. She was wearing a bright yellow dress she got on her birthday . Her long hair whipping side by side as she ran towards us.
"We have to go mom made dinner," Kenzie said gasping for air. Tyler and I followed Kenzie out to the dark parking lot where our mom had been waiting. We gave Tyler a lift home because a couple months ago his mom got a divorce and had to start over, and she ended up buying a house close to ours.
Once we got home Kenzie started to set the table for mom, and I went upstairs to change. When I enter my bedroom I saw something on my bed. It had the shape of a head. It looked like someone I knew. As I got closer the face became more and more detailed. It was the head of Tyler! But, how? I threw the head out the window. Then I saw a note next to it. I picked it up, and it said; "The small dipper started where that small star you were staring at." I knew that Tyler and I weren't the only ones there in that football field tonight. I knew that no one could know about this or else they might be killed next. I walked to the dining room table and had dinner with my family. My parents were smiling at the demeaning stories my little sister would come up with. I tried to smile to encourage her to tell us more, but the only thing on my mind was Tyler.
The following morning I got ready for school and as always my family was waiting for my dad to finish getting ready. It seems like every morning my dad has the hardest time finding the perfect tie to wear to work. While my mom was trying to help my father choose between the grey tie or the baby blue tie I was making lunch for Kenzie and I. Everyday I will put a little note in her lunch because I know she has her bad days. I tell her I love her and draw the best dog I can on the piece of paper, and fold it up and put it in the lunchbox. Her lunchbox has Stickers of animals all over it because she loves her animals. My lunch is just in a brown paper bag like you would use when you would go on a field trip. My dad finally decides on the grey tie and we are out the door. I am the last one to get dropped off because it's on the way to where my dad works. He gives me a hug goodbye and a kiss on the cheek. When I was younger I never let my dad kiss me because his beard would tickle me. So, he decided to shave it off. He also had to shave it off for work, but I always believed he did that for me. I walk into the school and met my friends over by the Snack shop. I ordered a black coffee and sat next to Angel. I met Angel at the 6th grade dance. She was crying in the bathroom because her date was dancing with another girl. Sitting next to her was her boyfriend Evan. They met our freshman year. I was originally friends with Evan. Next to Evan are my three other best friends, Anna, Becky, and Emma. I became friends with all three of them in 6th grade as well. I don't really remember how we met though. I wanted to tell them all about Tyler, but I knew I couldn't. The more I thought about last night the less I could remember. The bell rang for first hour, and we all disbursed to our class. While walking to class I kept my head down because if I looked at anyone they would some how remind me of Tyler. I turned the corner and bumped into someone. All of my stuff fell one the floor. Embarrassed I tried to pick it up as fast as I could. The guy I bumped into helped me picked up my math notebook. Our hands touch. My eyes look at his hand and go up his muscular arm to his neck up to his eyes. He was tall and gorgeous. He has dark brown hair, and light blue eyes like the sky. His smile could move mountains.

"Oops sorry my bad I didn't see you there," he said with a smile on his face that was big enough to form small dimples on his cheeks. I smiled back, and took the notebook from his hands. I looked down because I could feel myself blushing. When I walked past him my arm brushed up against his, and the butterflies kicked in. I couldn't stop smiling. Who was that guy?
