When I got home that night it was just my sister and I. I was getting dinner ready when my dad came home from work. He helped me set the table."So, how was everyone's day?" My dad asked to break the silence. Kenzie rambled on about how "mean" Ms. White her reading teacher is. Right before I talk about my day the phone starts to ring. My dad set his napkin down on the table and answered the phone.
"Hello? Yes this is he." As the man on the other end was talking I could tell that it wasn't good. My father started crying and hung up the phone.
"Who was that daddy?" Kenzie interrupting his thought. As he wiped his tears away he said,
"The was your mothers boss. Your mother was working late tonight to get somethings done at the office. She was the only one who was working late on a Friday. Then her boss forgot something at the office, so he had to go back. Once he got back he found your mothers head in the middle of the table in their conference room, and her body was thrown out the window." A few tears became a flood of tears that came running down his face to make him stop talking. How? Then I remembered about tyler and how I found his head on my bed. I knew at that moment whoever did this they did it towards me. I need to find out who it is and give the whatever they want. I always hated when Kenzie would cry, and I would always kick some nonsense into a kid that would pick on her. I knew that this time I couldn't do anything to help her. She ran over to our dad and her arms flew around his waist. He kissed her on the top of her head, and looked over at me. His eyes pleading for an answer. I looked down at my plate watching my tears hitting the back edge of the plate. My mother got these plates when we went to an antique store up in Oregon. We went to Oregon that year to go exploring what my mother loved to do. Every summer we would go somewhere new. To explore the unexplored. My dad would make a special bank account to put money in to help pay for these adventures.
