The Hidden secrets

Chapter 6

Saturday rolled around and I started to get ready for the movie. I didn't know if this was like a date or not, so I just put on some jeans and a blue shirt. I stared at myself in the mirror, at the necklace. The doorbell rang and I rand downstairs. I gave my dad a kiss on the check and headed out the door. Adam was standing there he was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt it was tight enough I could see his muscles. 

"Shall we?" He opened the door for me to get in. Surprisingly his car was dirty i always assumed that every guys car was dirty.  

"So what movie are you taking me to?" I joked 

"I thought you were paying." I guess this wasn't a date after all there was a long pause before he said, "Just kidding." He laughed and started the car. " There was this really good scary movie that came out I thought we could go see that. Well, that is if you aren't to scared."  

"Me? Scared? Never!" Well maybe sometimes. I chuckled a little. I felt him staring at me which made me look at him. I couldn't help but smile. "Why are you staring at me?"  

"Because you look beautiful when you smile." 

"What a line." I laughed and gave him a little nudge on the arm. He smiled even more and started to drive.  

"So what's your story?"  he asked.  

"what do you mean 'story'?" 

"I mean what made you so beautiful?" I quickly turned my head the opposite direction so he couldn't see how much I was blushing. "But in all seriousness what's your story? What makes Ali Ali?" 

"Well my life isn't so interesting. But, I have a little sister her name is Kenzie, and a father. I was born and raised here. I like reading and writing. And that about sums it up." I tried my hardest not to tell him about me.  

" No. You have to have more. I don't know there is just something that gives me the oppression that there is more than what meets the eyes with you.  Ah here we are!" We pulled up to was appeared to be a Japanese restaurant. I looked at him as if he was crazy.  "The place is inside. Come on." We got out and headed inside. The inside of the building was very cultural and smelled amazing. The walls red with blue dots. There are stores inside that sold antiques and artifacts. At the end of the hallway was the movie tavern. We got our tickets and headed inside. We didn't get nay food because I just had dinner, and already felt bad for him buying the tickets. When we walked into the room there was no one in the seats. It was just us. I followed him to the middle and sat down next to him. I don't know what to do with my hands. I can't put them on the arm rest because what if he wants the arm rest? I just folded my hands in my lap and stared at the screen. I haven't done this before. I haven't been on a date before a guy really hasn't liked me back before. I could tell I was being weird and awkward because he started laughing.  

"Here let me help." He put his arm around me. I scooted away.  

"Wait I'm confused. Are we together? Because we should like cuddle if we aren't together. Or else this would be rape, and I have my rape whi.." I started digging through my pockets looking for my whistle. He chuckled. 

"Well I want to date you if you are ok with that and won't blow your whistle on me." He laughed 

"I'm sorry I haven't done this before." He smiled and just looked at me with those beautiful eyes. Ugh I could just stare into them for hours. He put his arm around me again and I cuddled up next to him, and the movie started. 

Half way during the movie I was already 10 times closer to him then I was at the beginning. His hand was in mine and I felt safe. Every time I jumped or got scared he would hold me closer to him, and squeeze me in assurance that it was okay. Every time that happened I got a bigger and bigger warm feeling in my stomach., but I could never get close enough to him.  

At the end of the movie I must've fallen asleep because the movie had been over awhile when I finally woke up.  

"Why didn't you wake me up? " I sat up and stretched my arms. 

"I didn't want to let you go." He smiled and took my hand so we could leave.  

On the way back to my house he had one hand on the steering wheel and another holding mine.  He pulled up to my house and stopped the car.  

"I had a good time tonight thank you." I started to unbuckle. 

"Yeah, me too.  Don't worry on our next date you won't fall asleep." I laughed a little, and got out of the car. He rushed up to walk me up. Right before we started walking he stopped me. He pulled me close to him and looked at me. He brushed the hair from my face, and had my face in his hand slowly rubbing my cheek. I couldn't help but stare at his lips. All I could imagine was what it would be like to kiss them. Soon enough I didn't have to imagine. His lips are much more softer than I imagined. The world felt as if it were spinning. It felt like we were the only two people in the world, and there went that warm feeling in my stomach. The butterflies going crazy I thought maybe he felt them. My heart racing for more. Then we stopped our noses brushing each other.  

" I will um ah see you to um tomorrow." I started to walk backwards almost falling over. I reached the door. 

"See you tomorrow." He smiled and went to his car. I opened the door and walked inside practically falling to my feet while closing the door behind me. The House was dark and quiet. I took off my shoes and went to my room. Wow is all I could say whenI fell on my bed. I closed my eyes and feel asleep.
