The Hidden secrets

Chapter 3

Once first period started my teacher Mr. Banks started complaining about his new dog that he got not to long ago. He got the dog because he got very depressed after his divorce. In the middle of his speech about why do dogs have to pee on everything there was a knock at the door.

"Hi Mr. banks is it? I am Adam Scott your new student. The lady at the front said you got an email about me."

"Oh yes I forgot silly me. Come in have a seat any where." Mr. Banks stepped aside to let Adam in. Adam looked around the room looking for someplace to sit. Wait?! I know him! That is the guy I ran into yesterday in the hall. Oh no please do't sit next to me. We made eye contact, and he smiled and made his way over to the empty seat next to me.

"May I?" I smiled letting him know it was okay for him to sit down. He sat his backpack down and took a seat. He was wearing jeans that seemed to have holes in them, and a long sleeve with the sleeves rolled up his arm. He smelled like heaven. I just wanted to hug him, and like touch him. Okay Ali you need to focus. I smiled and brought my attention to the front of the room. While Mr. Banks started talking about Shakespeare and how amazing he is I felt something slide under my arm. It was a piece of paper. I look up at Adam and he quickly looks at the front of the class. I open the paper up. It say, "Single? check yes, check no." I tried to hide my smile under my hand that had been resting under my chin. I checked the yes box folded it back up and gave it back to Adam. As he opened it up I saw that smile I just can not resist. The smile that makes me want him more than ever, but I haven't had boyfriend before. I don't what it's like. He has probably had his far share of woman. He writes something down and hands it to me when the teacher's back is turned. "Wanna go see a movie this Saturday night?" I make a box that says yes and check it. He chuckles and puts the piece of paper in his notebook.

When it comes around to lunch time I usually give my lunch to Becky or else she will just take it for herself. Angel and Evan show up holding hands and he is carrying her textbooks for her as always. I feel like he is more of a maid than her boyfriend. Anna and Emma show up late because they were at the back of the lunch line, and today it was pizza. Emma got a slice for me and hands it to me. She always gets me food or else I won't eat.

"So, Ali got any hot gossip you would like to talk about. It has been ages since you have shared anything juicy." Anna picks at her pepperoni.

"Well... There is this guy in my literature class. He is new. His name is Adam."

"Oh yeah I have him in my trig class. The kid is smart." Evan says before Angel shuts him up with kisses.

"Oh God guys get a room! "Emma throws her corn at them. Evan laughs and throws it back at her.

"Okay, okay back to what you where saying." Becky insists.

"Well he asked me to the movies on Saturday, and I said yes." Everyone smiles, and gives me a pack on the back.

"It's about time!" Angel nudges me with her elbow. I can't wait until Saturday. I smile and take a bite of my pizza.
