Before The After (Tom Hiddleston Fan-Fic)

The "Hiddleswift" Dilemma

In light of recent events, I've decided to take a temporary hiatus on this book that should last about a week, two at the lastest. I'm working on the next few chapters as we speak, but it's proving a bit difficult due to Tom's current, very distracting relationship.

If you want to rant in the comments, that's perfectly okay--I'd love to know what you guys are thinking about this mess. I know there are folks that don't want any ranting or negativity in their comments, but I'm not those people.

We rarely used to see Tom in the news, and now he's all over the place? Because of Taylor? That just doesn't make sense.  It doesn't seem logical for someone of his caliber to date her seriously anyway, not with her track record...

I'm just so tired of seeing them together, and at this point it's not even jealousy. I so wish I could be happy for Hiddleston, because, like many of you, I love and admire him and I think he's brilliant actor and a great person that will go very far in life--but this whole relationship with Taylor seems like a publicity stunt to me, to try and bring up to global relevance and help him out of his Loki/Avenger's typecasting.

If that's not true and he really does care for Taylor, then I wish them all the happiness in the world and I hope they can endure the wrath of the Hiddlestoner fandom together through it all!

But if it's not, and it is some kind of insincere thing meant only to boost his popularity, that will mean he's lost another fan. I can't imagine Tom being that selfish and counterfeit, but the truth is this: we don't know him. Plain and simple. Hopefully, this isn't the case, and this is a new relationship that we as the fandom are supposed to support because we support him.

So, until further notice, I'll be on a mini break until I sit still long enough to write this next chapter. (It's gonna be so good, by the way, you guys are not ready!)
