Running. Feet pounding the floor. Fear. The footsteps were getting closer and closer behind me. I was so close to freedom though. Something cold grabbed my wrist, pulling me back away from the exit. I was so close....
Sounds like a dream right? Well, yeah it was. Great way to start the day, cold and sweaty. Also terrified cause dreams are, such a nice thing.
Standing, and rubbing my eyes, I grabbed my normal clothes and headed for the shower. Cleanliness was a good thing. Quickly, I shampooed and conditioned my hair, soaping the rest of my body.
Exiting my room, fully dressed obviously, when I turned to go to the elevator, a nice muscular dude was standing there, and I got to run straight into him. Wyatt. The athlete who was antisocial and that I had never spoken to.
"Hey, I'm sorry," I said, kinda embarrassed that I hadn't seen him.
"It's fine, Sage."
Right, everyone knew everyone's name here.
"May I ask you something?" He was looking directly into my eyes, it felt weird, rather intimidating.
"Sure, go ahead."
"Do you think the people we've killed were actually guilty, or was it something else?"
I thought for a second, "Pierce was definitely innocent, I know that much, but that means that someone should be leaving. The others, I don't really know. None of them admitted, even after being voted."
"I was thinking that also. I wonder who is the true killer," he placed his hand on his chin, thinking.
"I feel kind of bad, killing innocents."
"Same."
"Nice talk, Wyatt," it was getting rather uncomfortable, so I was gonna go, "we'll have to have another conversation later."
"Sure," was his reply, he headed to the meeting room. Before I continued to walk to the elevator, I noticed Scisco was sitting in there. He had a meeting with her, interesting.
Climbing on the elevator, I decided to go chill in the game room, nothing else to do. It stopped at floor two to pick up Pierre and Cooper.
"Hey guys," I said as they got on.
"What up, Sage?" Cooper said with a smile.
"Hey girl," Pierre replied with an identical smile to Cooper's.
"What you two been up to? Haven't really talked to you much." It really was nice to speak to the twins (not sure if that's what they were, but they certainly looked it).
"We've been, looking around," Pierre answered, ambiguously.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Cooper hit the stop button, causing the elevator to halt in the upwards motion it was in.
"We've been trying to figure stuff out about Skeleton, and find out how to get out," Pierre explained a bit.
"You guys are a thief and a pickpocket, why are you?"
"We don't wanna die here, do you?" Cooper was staring intently at me.
"Not really."
"Exactly," Pierre hit another button, making the elevator continue, "if you want to, you can help us."
"How, I'm a program..." I knew how I could help.
"We've found an ethernet cable, do you have a laptop?"
"Yeah, I do. When and where?"
"Tonight, midnight, go up to the medical facility, we'll explain more there," Pierre said, exiting the elevator, Cooper close behind him.
