I watched in horror as the quiet Wyatt screamed and kicked at the Skeleton, trying to fight for his life, but the Skeleton's grip held fast,  not letting go of the doomed boy.

"He was innocent," I muttered, a tear falling down my face as he was dragged behind the curtain of the stage.

"Sage, we did all we could. We had the most evidence on him," Zayn said calmly from the chair beside me.

"So? What if that note he had told us about was real, and he was 100% innocent? How would that make you feel Zayn?"

His head dropped a little, and he brought his hand up to his chin, "I guess then I'd feel guilty, for killing an innocent. But I wouldn't be the only guilty one here, we all would be for killing him."

I did not expect that from him. It kinda stung like a sword being driven through your chest. At this point, it didn't matter who we killed, we were all guilty because we had all killed innocents like Wyatt, and Flynn.

The curtain started to open, Wyatt stood center stage, nothing seemed to be touching him. His face was utter fear. He looked around wildly, like something had taken over him. Then, a paw appeared from right stage. It was big and black, a cat paw of some sort?

"No!"He screamed as the more of the animal appeared, it was a giant panther, standing about seven feet high, and was probably around eleven feet long, not including the length of the tail.

Skeleton appeared in front of the curtain, he looked satisfied with what was going on. The panther slowly stalked closer to Wyatt, taking each step cautiously. Wyatt made eye contact with the panther's bright green yellow eyes, his own widened even more, but now his mouth was clamped shut. The panther took another step.

I wanted to cry out, wanted to do something to help him, but all I could do was stare at what was happening before me, the pointless slaughter of an innocent man.

About two feet away from Wyatt, the panther pounced, sinking it's teeth into the flesh of his neck, he screamed louder than he had before, but it turned to a gurgle as his throat filled with blood.

The panther clamped down a little harder snapping his neck, then walked off stage left, holding Wyatt's dead body in its jaws. His foot disappeared off stage, then the rest of the panther did, and the curtains closed.

The Skeleton took center stage, "It is down to five of you. Sage, Scisco, Zayn, Stella, and Pierre. You all have done well to make it this far, but be warned, it's still not over. Only one of you will make it out of here alive, if even that."

With that, he turned and walked through the curtain, disappearing into the darkness.

I turned to look and say something to Zayn, but he was already gone. When did he? Whatever, I walked over to Pierre, he was still in his seat from the trial. Stella stood from her own seat and walked out the door. Scisco was hiding all of her face in her hair, and I saw a tear fall from her cheek. She had been close to Wyatt, hadn't she?

"Hey, how you doing?" I asked Pierre, trying to make conversation with him.

"I'm doing as well as I can be, considering the circumstances," he replied, then he stood up and walked out, leaving me sitting there, alone.

I looked around, the only other person left in the room was Scisco, and I didn't really  know her very well, so I decided to just stand up and walk out, but her voice stopped me before I could.

"Sage," she said, rather quietly.

"Yeah Scisco?" I said, standing right in front of the door.

"Did you vote for him?"

"No, I didn't think he was guilty."

She sighed, "I did, and I can't help but feel like that vote was wrong."

"It's because he wasn't guilty, if he had been, he wouldn't have been screaming and denying it. If he had done it, what would be the point in not telling everyone? Ya know?"

She nodded, "Thanks, I guess."

I sighed, and walked out, heading to my room. I got my laptop out, booting up Minecraft, logging on and going to this awesome survival world that I had built. I lived in a giant castle in the middle of a town I had created. It had only taken me about one year to create that entire world.

Playing for an hour, killing monsters, building more little houses that would remain empty, giving my world a nice ghost town feeling.

I shut my laptop off, changing into pajamas, and crawling into bed, taking forever to fall asleep.

A/N: Sorry about taking so long to get this one out, I've been surprisingly busy with summer homework and stuff.
