So basically, what you missed in the story line was me meeting everyone else. The people you missed were, Elias, the mathematician. Always wearing a tux and glasses. Short hair that is a kinda ugly brown and goes down mid-forehead. He's got big brown eyes.
Alexi is a Zoologist. She has a pet cat everywhere she goes. It's a black cat named Pluto. She has blue jeans, and tennis shoes that are orange. A black vest that is covered in fur, which is over an orange t-shirt with a tiger head on it. She wears a black baseball hat. Short blonde hair is always in a ponytail. Green eyes.
Athena is a diva. She wears a short black and gray checkered skirt. Black shoes with white leggings. A light gray, low cut tank top under a black short- sleeve jacket. Her long super blonde hair is in pigtails. She wears a golden band on her middle finger. Blue eyes.
Lastly, is Sophia. She was the investigator. She wears a purple suit jacket, a white button up long sleeve underneath. A black tie, skirt, and shoes. She's oddly pale. Medium length hair that covers half her face, a nice black with lavender highlights and purple eyes.
That's everyone who ended up in this hell hole. We all got placed here. Why? Don't ask me, I have no clue. Anyways, allow me to continue telling you the story of my life, or more, the story of my death.
We had all gone to bed after our great pool party thing. Upon awakening after a pretty good sleep, I found a kit. It contained a knife, a screwdriver, and a couple other miscellaneous tools. Leaning against the wall was a katana. Why was the hotel handing out weapons to me? Was I the only one that got them?
Leaving my room, I headed to the meeting room where I heard voices coming from. Everyone else was there. I walked up to Angela, "What's going on?"
She looked at me, a slight of fear was see able in her eyes, "Did you wake up with a kit and katana in your room?"
"Yeah, I did. Did everyone?"
She nodded slowly. A podium had been placed center stage. On it, was an image of a sword stabbed into a human skull. What a pleasant image, don't you think?
"Welcome, all of you, to the Happy Hotel," A voice said. It came from behind us. We all turned, and saw a skeleton. Dressed in a suit and top hat. He had a cane. What the heck?
He walked up to the podium, then grabbed a piece of paper from his pocket. He unfolded it, then set it down. He looked out at us. His dead face was slightly intimidating.
"Ladies, gentlemen, anyone who is willing to listen, which you all probably will want to if you plan on knowing anything. I welcome you to this fun game you have accepted. At the Happy Hotel, this is what we do: Kill. That's right, I said kill. Murder. The destruction of life," you could swear that the skeleton was smiling at us.
A couple whispers passed throughout the group, "What the Hell?" Zayn had stepped forward, "You expect us to want to murder one another?"
The skeleton looked at him "Why, of course! If you can do so without being caught, you will be free to leave. That is the price of the Happy Hotel. A life. Plain and simple."
Zayn looked taken aback. Everyone was staring at the skeleton who twirled his head in a 360 on his shoulders, "now you have been given some weapons that you will be able to use. After a murder takes place, we will meet here, to discuss who we thought did it. If you guess correctly, they will be taken and executed. If you guess wrong, they get to go free and everyone else has no chance to ever leave, even if you murder someone else. Understood? And you might slowly but surely be executed too, so let's try find the culprit every time, Kay?"
"You're insane," I found myself saying, "I know I would never murder these people, and I think they know the same thing about themselves."
He clapped his bone hands, "Ahh, but that's the fun. See who will fall into insanity first. It is a fun game, is it not?"
"It's not fun at all." "Do you think we're murderers?" Others in the room were yelling questions at this strange man. He just laughed at us all.
"Now that you know the rules, let's see how long you can last." With a bony smirk, if a skeleton can even do that, he disappeared. Poof. Gone. I decided at that moment that I hated that skeleton.
I turned to Angela. Her eyes were wide and she was shaking, "Uh, are you okay?" I asked her.
She shook her head, then ran, "Wait! Angela! Come back!" I called after her, but she was already gone. Down the hall and disappeared.
"Well, she handled that well," Flynn said as he walked up to me. He had also been watching her as she ran away. Others had noticed, but not really payed attention to it.
"Yeah, I hope she comes back. I don't think being alone is the best thing right now," I said. When did I start worrying about others? I hated people, we were all dumb. Oh well. She was nice.
"Hey, it'll be ok, I think. We will all make it through this," Flynn smiled at me.
How could he have been so wrong?
