Double Vision

why me?

Well after yet another trip to the hospital I am back at home. Why am I so messed up? Why is all this bad stuff happening to me? Why does Jamie put up with me? I just hope I can't get over this.
Jamie's POV
So we have been back home for about 2 hours and she has not stopped crying. I need to show her I'm not going anywhere and I will always love her even though this happened. She is my world no matter what. When she was in the hospital I had ordered a crib, rocking chair, and tons of diapers, wipes,lotions and pacifiers. All of these items should be here around 5, I hope she likes it all.

Kae's POV
"Jamie im so tired." I wimper.
"Baby go lay down a bit. Ill be here when you get up I need to read over this new manuscript." He says as he kisses my forehead. I am slipping in to dream land. A few hours later a wake up looking around for Jamie. I can't find him in the living room and then I hear him in the guest room. "Omg Jamie what are you doing? What is all this?"
"Well I was hoping to have it done before you woke up babe."
"But what is this?"
"I want to have things ready for when our baby arrives. I am not going anywhere baby. Even though we had this set back I will go no where. You are my life."
"Jamie why is this happening to me? What did I ever do?" I start to cry again.
"Baby you didn't do anything wrong baby. I'm so happy you came into my life. His loss is my gain." He pulls me close and holds me which seems like forever. I can't believe he did all this for me and my baby. I mean our baby, he wants this baby.
"You hungry I'll order in tonight?" He asks.
"Yes I'm starving."
He goes in the other room and orders the food and tells me 20 minutes till it's here. I decided to go get a shower I might feel better. After my shower I decided to just wear one of Jamie's shirts it smells just like him.
Dinner was so good he ordered me boneless BBQ wings and French fries. So yummy. I started to get tired but I was not ready for bed, so I go in and turn the TV on. Since it was close to 11 o'clock I turn the news on. They are talking about the sports and the weather at the moment but say they have big news following the commercial break. These commercials are so boring sometimes.
" This morning we have gotten news that the one and only Jamie Dornan's girlfriend was rushed to the hospital last night. She was taken out of the Lone Star Motel were police reports sat she was beat and raped. We were told that she had bruises and cuts over her arms legs and ankles. She is also 5 months pregnant with their first baby. Dornan's manager has confirmed that they are engaged with a wedding planed in the near future." The news reporter says. I'm balling my eyes out finding it hard to breath. Jamie comes running in the room.
"Baby baby what's wrong?" He asks worried.
"T....v...." he rewinds the TV and hits play. The reporter says it all over again.
"Baby baby it will be ok I promise I'm here you are ok. "
"But... they.... know what happened to me.."I sniff.
"Baby so what you can't always let then get to you. We will get through this ok? We are strong together and nothing will break us." He reassure me. "I also have a question for you."
"Any thing." I say.
" Please hear me out ok.." omg he going to break up with me.
"Ok?" I say.
"I have told you that this is my baby no matter what. Right?" I nod. "Well I want to do this cool DNA thing I found online. It not only does DNA but it can tell you different things about the baby. Like heritage and all."
"Umm ok what?" I'm confused.
"You can find out where you come from like if you have Irish or German in you." It does sound cool.
" What do we have to do?
"Well you and I would send a blood sample in with a sample from an amniocentesis ,which can be done safety. We would then get the results back in 2 weeks." He says so calmly.
"Ok if this is what you want when can it be done?"
"First thing in the morning at your appointment."
